All great shots!
This one’s my favorite.

:duff Thanks, D.R.37!

Great shots and some cool strutting poses there! The "alternate" parts look fun, but I'll be happy with my standard one.
(I do like the ankle sheaths and the dark cape a lot though)

The proto is a "nice to have" rather than a must have. However, I think that the deluxe might be more sought after once Boba is sold out everywhere because of it is more loaded with accessories. I personally like more display options especially for times when you just want to switch things up.

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures of how people are displaying him. :)

Agree with you both, I like the extra parts but 95% of the time he'll be in Empire gear or modified with the ROTJ gear -- I also picked up the ROTJ belt, blaster, jetpack, and gauntlets to go for that look on occasion too.

Nice shots, TonTon.
Is your bodysuit actually that blue in hand, did you dye it, or is your auto white balance causing that appearance?

Thanks! No, the pics are definitely making it a bit more vibrant, morning light maybe, the auto white balance on the camera is super inconsistent -- I should really start using a piece of paper before starting my pics. Lazy. :thwak

You see. The prototype helmet/mask is more of a pastel blue color but the armor is a green color which looks a lot more like Boba's Return of the Jedi self. If Hot Toys would've just made the pastel blue prototype armor I would've thought about buying this one.

Honestly, I wish the armor on the whole figure were just a little bit less green and more gray/blue, but agreed that the prototype armor probably could have gotten its own figure, seems to warrant a figure more than the animated version, though I'm not a big enough fan to buy it on its own, so this is a good option for casual Boba fans.

Awesome pictures guys! I love seeing pictures in threads.

TK0083, Ton Ton, great shots. Super posing, man in a suit. Good stuff.

:duff Thanks guys! And agreed, great shots, TK (great pose!) and McHaley (your custom figs are always 100% man in suit)!

So just decided to put the ESB gear back on as I finally picked up the full ROTJ figure to try some customizing and to switch the red sash and add the diver's belt. I like the slightly more vibrant red on the ROTJ sash.

So that's the black belt missing from the ESB Fett. I remember it being discussed, but never saw a picture of it. Wonder why HT left it off. Just an error/oversight, or to save a buck since it's under the red belt and not seen anyway.

But for some reason I still feel I need it for my ESB Dx Fett. :lol

Been looking forever, but never seen one on ebay or anywhere else parted out. I'll keep patiently looking.

Yeah, you're not supposed to really see it normally, but I'm not crazy about the gap that sometimes appears between the stomach and chest armor, hence why I usually have the blaster covering that area. Been looking forever as well and haven't seen it (probably in a year of looking) and just decided to buy the full ROTJ figure when I realized I wanted to try the sash too and maybe use the figure as a base for the prototype Fett. Got a nice deal from a seller here.

ESB Boba has arrived...I'm super-late to the game, but here we go...

Just some basic pose-real quick shots and first impressions here. Of course, I like it. He will take some futzing to get there. Chest plates a little wonky - I want to see what I can do with that - could be as simple as undressing and adjusting the jerkin underneath. I'll try that later. My only nit right out of the gate is the same thing I have seen in MANY photos in here. The gauntlets. Even if they are oversized a bit, it wouldn't be a big deal if they met the glove better. Not a deal breaker - I'll find a pose that works, but...just a little annoying.

He's got great presence, that's for sure. With some proper adjustments, it's going to look like the best of "man in suit" when posed.
He looks cool with a bounty hunter buddy too...

Glad I picked him up even though I already have the ROTJ version. Had to have the ESB appearance on the shelf! Looking forward to futzing some more and snapping some shots. Next Boba on my list is the "Mythos" one, but I'll get plenty of fun out of this one in the meantime...

Forgot to mention: I caved for the deluxe.
Hey at least my center chest armor piece is in better alignment than my finances.

Congrats, Creighton! I just got the regular edition and I'm digging it a lot...get that guy unboxed and get some pics in here!

Great shots, Jedibear. Get a very Bespin vibe from the shot above. And agreed on the gauntlets. I ended up putting the Sideshow ones. They look good but still not a perfect fit as the hand articulation becomes limited.

Definitely seems to be a challenging figure for manufacturers. I’m planning to try the SS gloves too if I can get ahold of those as the HT ones are a little weak.

Can’t really see them in this shot but I’ll try to dig up an earlier one. Anyhow here he is now with ROTJ Boba in the proto gear.

McHaley, TonTon, and Jedibear, thanks for sharing your pics. Creighton, I'm looking forward to seeing your pics too. :)

In this case it works though, that's pretty much the shade of blue I want to achieve to get that on-screen Bespin look.
Incidentally, I just got in some grey cards this week as well. :lol

Just unboxed mine. Do you guys suggest removing the entire fatsuit or just the thighs? I just got mine undressed and am definitely taking out the thighs but unsure about the rest.

Also - that red belt is a pain in the *** to futz.... Mine was up too high. Looking at the movie, it looks like it should slightly cover the top of the cod piece and there should be a little bit of the flight suit showing in the mid section?

I believe most people just did the thighs, but I might be wrong, that's what I did to the ROTJ suit in the picture above. Still think I prefer it with the fat suit, but not sure, I think it looks good either way on the ESB one though. I also figured out how to do it without cutting his metal underwear. Take all the parts off, and then pull the top part of the suit down through the cod piece, then make sure to lift the legs out through the suit so as to not stretch or break the elastic for the codpiece. And also be careful when cutting the fat suit, not to cut the actual suit if you don't take that off completely.
