Yes, this is a second run of the same figure that released a while ago. Unfortunately joining the waitlist isn't a guarantee you will get the chance to order one.

Why is a second run being promoted on the SS website so far in advance being produce in such limited quantity that you have to join a waitlist? Just curious....

If I have to pay premium to get it on ebay or elsewhere, is there another Fett I should also consider?

It wasn't always on waitlist, it was a standard pre-order for months. When Sideshow feels they have filled their expected allotment, they switch the status to "waitlist". People can join the waitlist in case people cancel their orders or they receive more product than anticipated.

I think its really "how many more people are wanting this, do we need to tell the factory to increase our run?" as in, if a million people waitlist they know for sure they can safely order a bunch more. But who knows.

I also passed the 1st time because of the SSC and medicom versions I already have. I had this in my cart with a coupon code but backed out. This time however I'll probably buy it.

Niiiiice! I jumped on the SS waitlist as that's the only viable option for the UK but he would have ended up around 300GBP. Looks like I'm gonna jump off and pre-order this version. Hopefully there might be a bit of a paint update too.
