Are the two different helmets that come with this figure different sculpts or is only the paint different? I think this is the best looking Fett figure I've ever seen and am thrilled to have another chance to pick it up.

Same helmets, different paint. I have to agree, this figure is great. The helmet does have some inaccuracies and it seems like the one being used on the show is different (least what it looks like) but I doubt HT will do a new helmet. I do also want the sideshow Mythos. That one looks good too
Okay thanks for clarifying. Yeah hopefully HT redoes Fett's helmet for the Mando releases. They'd have good reason to since there are no less than three new figures (Cobb and then both scuffed and clean Boba) that a new sculpt would benefit.
Have not seen this many people angry about such a decision since.... well, its been a while. [not here, but elsewhere]
Many are saying you should get to use your purchased points whenever, but promotional codes should expire. This strikes me as a fair compromise, but NOPE.
Well, I'll hoard points for a year and we'll see what happens. Why would you remove incentive for people to shop with you, this makes no sense for SSC to do.
Personally I'm really hoping HT releases an improved ROTJ Boba someday. I'd love to have that alternate look, but the awful helmet was too much of a dealbreaker before. Even if it's just with the current ESB helmet that would be a vast improvement.

Depending on whether it's the minty fresh helmet Fett repainted for Episode 15 or the Cobb Vanth version. Vanth version should be severely weathered ROTJ I believe. Minty fresh would be the ROTJ bucket, painted close to ROTJ colors with ESB ears. Fett did some odd kit bashing aboard Slave I between episodes...
Me too. I passed on the RotJ Boba figure but would love to pick up a 2.0 version.

I caved in and pre-ordered this! Can't wait to have both pre-pro and screen used versions on display (there we go, back on track m8)
If you want to nit pick. The pre pro helmet that hot toys provides , aka "eyes" , the left gauntlet is wrong.
It should look like this.
The left gauntlet Hot Toys provides is used for the pre pro 2 helmet
I have the ROTJ Boba (MMS312 I believe) but I've been looking at the ESB Deluxe Boba more and more. Do you guys think it would be a worthy upgrade?

Just the mere fact that ESB is his best representation I would say it is the only Fett to own if you can only own one.
Yep. Not only do you get the best on-screen Fett but you also get options to make him pre-production Fett which is what both the 3.75 inch and Large Size Kenner action figures were based on. Two options in one with the pre-prod being a better "Kenner" version than their lazy "Vintage Toy Colors" release.
Indeed, but it's what's available. I still haven't painted up my GMH pre-pro 2 helmet cast (been a few years...) because I have avoided making a decision about which version to go with!

Yup just ignore the imperfections and proudly display him in your SW collection.
If anything no SW collection regardless of scale should be without the HT ESB Fett it’s that simple.
That being said my single biggest regret when it comes to collecting was that I passed on the 1/4 Fett because it was ROTJ.
Dumbest decision I have ever made.
Hopefully 1/4 ESB Fett will be made which would instantly eliminate my regret lol
I promptly preordered the ROTJ Fett PF after seeing it in person at Celebration 2017. Still my single favorite modern SW collectible.

Thanks guys. Sounds like you all really like/prefer the ESB version. I might go ahead and order it, and try to sell the ROTJ version in the meantime if there's any market for it.
