Wow -- Vader still had his robes over his chest armor in that parade with Fett. Who knew?

My guess would be it was still his screen accurate look, since Empire was still a couple of years away.

I feel like when most of us are saying "eh, it's definately not perfect, but it's a pretty good Fett figure", that's actually very high praise, coming from us. Getting really excited about this and I'm not even that big of a Fett fan.

Question for those who have the figure in hand. Would you be able to measure the dimensions of the helmet please ? I was wondering if a helmet I have would be a good alternative to the HT helmet?

Hey man, how much did you get them for shipped, and just wondering when you ordered? I'm thinking about biting the bullet and buying one from timcent.....while I wait on my deluxe version from Sideshow.

There was an ebay sale a few days ago, 15% off made the deluxe from timcent cheaper than sideshow for me. I do appreciate sideshow's customer service tho, Timcent does however seem highly regarded in the community. Hs is Timcent88 on ebay, the normal deluxe price is $318 I think around $300 for standard.

Hey man, just wondering when you ordered it? I bit the bullet and put an offer in for the last one from timcent.....while I wait on my deluxe version from Sideshow. I had no freakin idea until I got off of work this morning that this guy came out! It's literally been less than a week since I was searching YouTube for that early review from China. I LOVE how they further improved on the helmet flair! Well, at least it looks better to me than the production images. They even got the logo for the spear gun holster..like holy ******* !

The standard is going for less than that right now from them. I just put in an offer for $260. After seeing that they're already in the US from the people that bought them here, that gave me hope it wouldn't end up taking a month to get here.

I ordered the deluxe on July 11th when that 15% eBay code went up. He has it for $305 at the time so I just bought it outright rather than an offer but also had $15 in eBay bucks so it was cheaper than most places in the states. And a month earlier.

He usually will only knock $5-$10 off in my experience on a new figure.

ammo belt sits above the girth belt... I know it's probably not futzed, but for those of you, when you receive your figure, pull the girth down over the cod piece more so it sits under the belt.

Armor size and shape looks better. Paintwork on the helmet is about 10 times better, the killstripe yellow to orangish fade is so beautiful, they did a great job on the weathering. But it looks like the HT gauntlet details are lacking details in comparison to the Sideshow version. It's hard to tell as I'm judging mostly off these photos and the video, I'll know more when I have the standard and deluxe in hand, but there seems to be no red switch on the inside wrist of the right gauntlet, also the darts look oversized, the left gauntlet rocket looks weirdly shaped, kinda large and clumsy looking, the dental file also looks large and clumsy, overall my impression is that the gauntlets are just not as accurately detailed. Ill know more when it's in hand and I can compare to my V2 SSC directly. But one thing is for sure, the weathering is much better and worth the upgrade, and chest shoulder and knee armor are more accurately shaped and painted. The one thing that bothers me a little bit about the HT helmet, and I noticed this with the ROTJ version, the rangefinder antenna is too big. It's unnecessarily long. I feel this is a great figure and the painting and armor shape are a noticeable improvement, but the figure seems to suffer in some proportions and sizing issues. Gauntlets for me are my favorite thing about Fett second only to his helmet, and it looks like they cut corners on it. Might have to swap them out for the SSC V2s, but again, I'll know more when they are in hand.

Wow that's fast shipping! It always takes about 2 weeks or so to receive things from China for me (I'm in SC). I never heard of eBay dollars and I've been a member since '99. Hm, I'll have to figure out how to use those.

Yeah I was surprised by the shipping speed. I bought the regular from him too on July 9 and that one is still in Hong Kong.

For eBay bucks you have to sign up or activate it first (it’s free). But it’s just your basic rewards program. You accrue some small percentage on purchases over a 3 month period and then get the “bucks” after that period (which can be applied to any purchase and are then only good for 30 days).

Timcent is great. Just gotta watch the price fluctuation. Didn’t pay extra for shipping and still he gets it to the US in 7-8 days

SCORE! Just got the regular edition from timcent for $260 shipped. So now time to play the waiting game and hope I get mine quick like TonTon's. Anyone planning on taking the regular helmet and putting it on the Jedi one? I know most people consider that the 'special edition' look..but OG Fett definitely rocked the Empire helmet with the Jedi outfit.
