Well, the Winnie the Pooh and Piglet HT figure set from the Christopher Robin movie weren't offered in the US either, unfortunately, so it's not the first time they've done this for a Disney property.

Yeah I remember those, it felt kinda different to what HT usually does lol

Though to me (should this not see a US release) it seems baffling they wouldn't give widespread release of a figure from a popular Disney property.

InArt only have the license for China for their Western IP products.

Yeah I know I know :lol Hence we could only predominately order from overseas sellers.

It will be interesting to see how this sells now that the movie itself is greatly underperforming, according to recent accounts.
They really shot themselves in the foot by making the new Pixar movies free on Disney+. That's probably a big factor in the box office receipts for this movie. Had they done premier access for those like they did for Marvel, they wouldn't have conditioned people to getting new Pixar movies for "free."

I personally think that the character transcends above the movie. I think people who are a fan of cool designs and buzz in general will be totally on board. I havent seen the film yet, but as a Disney collector this is an absolute must for me.

I ordered Belle years ago because it was just a unique and cool toy as well as something different from everything else I had. I'm having the same thought with this and just pre-ordered it at Sideshow thankfully. Haven't seen the movie but I feel like you could be a Toy Story fan to want this (thought I'm sure I'll enjoy this when I get around to it).

That price is ******* stupid. What the hell.

I have to agree. I know it's a completely different build, but with all that's included with the freshly-announced Cad Bane, this is a tough one to swallow. Can't lie, part of me wants him, but at $345, I'm not sure how bad I want him.

Yeah there's something funky with the pricing here. It's better to buy from OSK in this case even if you're in the US since it comes out cheaper.

Guessing that Disney license is expensive.

Let's hope they plan to include second head with the final release and that's why price is higher than average. Wishful thinking lol

I don't collect many Hot Toy figures so the price doesn't really bother me much. I've always been a huge fan of Buzz so, for me, this is totally worth having in the collection.

I'm sure they make Disney and Pixar movies free on Disney+ as an intentional marketing decision. The movies are predominately aimed at selling toys and merch, rather than box office sales. Kid's don't always get to the box office, but most parents have Disney+.

Most younger kids don't care if a movie sucks or not, they are still going to want to buy the toys.

Price isn’t surprising. He’s not a unique body like any iron man figure so he’s going to have an iron man prices. Even the non-die cast ones are above average figure prices.
