Did anyone who received this from Popcultcha get blue dots, doesn’t seem to be reading the thread. PC have told me they won’t open prior to shipping but I can return it if it does. Thanks.

My Leia from Popcultcha was perfect, if that helps

I finally got around to unboxing her and I was pumped to find I was spared by the blue plague. My pump was slightly deflated when I saw that one of her little hair wispy things was broken off. I'm sure Sideshow will be able to help

I can echo most everyone else. Fig is awesome top to bottom as well as the accessories. Not that hip to the accuracy of them, but the quality is the usual top shelf. Plain as she is, there's high quality hidden in the subtlety of the outfit. Like most others said, the biggest bummer about this set is the lack of hands.

As a lover of all things Hoth I'm stoked to finally have a Empire Leia of this quality!

Spotgate has waned for the past few weeks. You see some rare cases here and there, but it seemed like it was pretty pervasive at first.

This is the kind of figure that you won't be posing in the most dynamic of ways. But just a simple museum pose like this, for this particular figure, I find... breathtaking.

I can't imagine how my 13 yr old self would have reacted seeing this set up somewhere.

Hope the eventual Han looks just as good.

Its interesting that we now know that "the factory" cleans up those dots -- no wonder the figures stink like alcohol upon first opening.

I wonder what that cheap Chinese alcohol does to figures over time? No wonder there's so much cracking.

My Jack Sparrow reeked of alcohol upon opening. However, I don’t believe it was the smell of cheap Chinese alcohol. Reminded me more of Caribbean Rum.

Very true. It’s a “simple” figure that has a lot of presence on the shelf. I find I’m going back to the shelf trying different poses, but always come back to something like this.
I really hope they knock a Bespin Han out of the park (I don’t hate the ANH version), but I think those two would be quite special together....and a Lando. “You old smoothie”.

Yeah, that one was insane and it was solved with a laundry stick.:horror:lol

Those Tide pens work like charms, but if you don’t wash the clothes right after you use them, they can leave a cloudy sort of water stain when it dries. I imagine you’d have to wet this outfit pretty good after using the Tide pen or alchool

Dresky’s was extreme! How does it even pass QC and ship out like that??

I just don't understand why they wouldn't have done an exchange. If I've paid $200+ and it arrives covered in dots, my first thought is not to get out the Tide pen for a little DIY action.

If in a couple of years I started to notice discoloration where the Tide pen removals were, I'd give myself a good slap across the back of the head.

Nah, that Tide stick is very useful when you have three kids lol. Been using it for a few years and nothing backfired. I think it's a safer option than alcohol.

Btw i'm happy for everyone who recently got spotless figures :)

Seriously though; I wonder if that’s why my Hot Toys Han Solo has slowly developed a yellow stain on his shirt collar.
