It's funny how Sideshow gets the goods in Cali, ships them to Wisconsin, and then you folks in Cali have it shipped back to you for about 65% less plus no state tax. FYI it is nearly 4000 miles round trip from LA to Somerset Wisconsin according to Google maps.

So funny its sad. Cue Metallica: "Sad but True"

I like Sideshow still mainly because of flex pay. I know I can set aside the money on my own but I just like the smaller payments as opposed to one big lump sum, especially when there's a bunch of figures dumped at one time. Also the rewards points are nice. Other than that those benefits the NRD is annoying but it makes me more choosy with what I pre-order. Their shipping costs are bs though. Considering that you can get figures shipped from a bunch of other sources for less it makes no sense.

2 years and only $139? Man, you gotta step your game up.

I gave up on them after Jango Fett's armor fell off lifting him out of the box. No more Sideshow product and no more Sideshow purchases. I have been holding on to those for a long time and built up more just through Spooktacular but no purchases.

Now that I used them all up I don't plan on buying through them anymore. I was contemplating the last three Bounty Hunters but I think I will live without them.

I get the feeling the bespin hairdo and boots are going to be a toy fair (or whatever) exclusive.

Ordered through BBTS as well. ..The $40 + I'm laying out for shipping on two figures coming within days of each other later this month from SSC directly convinced me. Still like SSC. .but can't abide that anymore. ..

She's looking good and I don't mind the wait knowing she's on the way. Good PO for May the fourth. ..

Does make me wonder...where is Baze? Thought he'd be next...

Calling it right now: Bespin Leia promo edition. Basically all the same clothes and head sculpt, just different hair.

That's my thinking too since they didn't go the standard and deluxe route. And I'll probably end up getting that one too since I really like that outfit variation as well.

I don't think they'd do a variant with just a different head sculpt. Maybe if they were doing the Bespin dress look but I don't know if the demand for that version would be as high.

Fantastic. Gorgeous. That face - I'm in love all over again.
Love the accessories. The outfit. The hands gloved and ungloved! The welder kit!!!

That rifle though. Is it me or is that rifle barrel just a tad... well... odd?

Yeah, I noticed it on the Imperial gunner who comes with the same gun as well - there's something quite off about the HT sculpt of that rifle. There were a couple of slightly different versions seen onscreen, but it doesn't seem to match either.

HT makes pretty durable headsculpts, with commercial paint that doesn't wear off easily. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but you do run a risk if you keep something on too long.

It's just that Leia relies so much on the clean/perfect paint (Han and Luke can have a minor "bruise" or scuff as battle damage.)

Anyone else think it's an odd choice for the blaster? I would've preferred the esb e-11.

I think I now have a pile of unused E-11's - I'd take anything over yet another stormie blaster.:lol

Falcon floor grate.....

As others have said, I think it's supposed to be Hoth base floor grate based on the snowy look (though I don't think it's correct for Hoth base grate) - never saw much snow on the Falcon floor, though I guess it makes sense it could be there.

$50 less than Sideshow's Snowspeeder Luke :lol

Just let that sink in a moment :lecture

Snowspeeder Luke comes with a fair bit more though - including two headsculpts and a helmet. Those to me are easily worth only about $50 more.

Amazing to see how they got the greeblies on her costume pretty much spot on. I took these pictures of the actual costume earlier this year.

Not sure I agree on the chest greeblie - the HT version seems too small and the shape of the pocket too narrow vertically. Sideshow seemed to really struggle with the Hoth insignia on the Hoth Luke as well. It's a tough one to get right in 1/6.

I also ordered at BBTS. If I get a $20 off coupon or something, I'll go with SSC instead. Timewalker is tempting, but the pile of loot option gives BBTS the advantage for me.

It's a feature they have on their site. You turn it on and they hold your loot until you tell them to ship it. It saves on shipping costs. The only thing is when the items arrive in stock they charge you right away. So you could have items that are paid off but not in hand if the feature is on.

Yes, the only difference is that I can add non 1/6-scale stuff into my pile at BBTS, like Minimates, Transformers and the like. Before shipping I'll often go through their discount section looking for cheap gifts I can just throw in.

Ah thanks for the explanation
