Hot Toys 1/6 Hoth Leia

I guess I'm the only one not feeling blown away by the likeness in these inhand pics so far. There was something slightly generic about the proto too, but here it's even more magnified, with the face looking somehow rounder and the eyes further forward.

It’s definitely not as strong as the ANH likeness but the outfit is what won me over. For me it probably comes down to the hair/ears on this one. The ears are covered on both Endor and ANH and those sculpts looked a bit stronger in the likeness department.

But at the end of the day I want my figures to be in the characters’ more visually interesting outfits. For Leia it would be Hoth or Endor for me.

It's funny how everyone's opinions differ, for me the ANH Leia was a shocking likeness and a really bland figure overall! This one for me the likeness is spot on.

I don't care about displaying figures with retrospective partners from said movie or scene! I just want a Leia, this is the best one of the bunch, so I went with this one.

I would have liked an older Leia too but the likeness on TLJ is not great!

Funny how often we all revert to Kenner (even official companies.) Han's "Bespin" outfit is basically "ESB Han outfit" - he wears it throughout the movie. We only call it Bespin because Kenner was trying to sell a Hoth Han as well as their old smuggler Han (but reissued on an ESB card) at roughly the same time.

It's true, but also because it eliminates any confusion. It's a process of elimination as most of these outfits encompass multiple locales in reality. Same thing with Hoth Leia, we see here wear it on Hoth, in the Falcon, in a space slug's stomach while on an asteroid, and then when she arrives at Cloud City. But there's only one outfit we see her in that's exclusive to Hoth.

I`m working on a custom of that version. I bought an extra hoth leia hoth suit ( which I`m waiting on as I type). it will be like a dx type one hoth and one cloud city escape version.
