Hot Toys 1/6 Hoth Leia

Hoth Leia reminds me of my co-worker more than Leia herself. Did not want to have a 1/6 of my coworker on my shelf so it was a easy pass.

I initially sold this one off but had to track it down again. Have it displayed with Snowspeeder Luke now. Sculpt isn't better than the ANH version, but the figure in its entirety might edge it out because of the outfit.

I got this a few months ago after trying to find a good deal on it for a loooong time.

In my opinion, this is my favorite Leia head sculpt from Hot Toys and definitely the best outfit as well.

That’s a good point. She is one of the rare characters where nearly all of the head sculpts were new sculpts, I think only the Endor figure was a repaint.

The most recent Leia (oldest) is STUNNING! HT really does older have very well (weakest Kenobi)

Just re-bought this figure used and the boots have some weird orange markings. Not sure if it's glue dried up or what.

Anyone else have this?

mine is a bit like this but I managed to scrape the worst best out so barely noticeable now

I thought the two little white dots on and above her left eyebrow were damage.

But it turned out to be dust.

There are more specks in her hair and one under her left eye, but they must be microscopic.

Having finally realised that OT Star Wars is where my 1/6 collecting love really lies, I have been selling a lot of figures and picking up a few bits and pieces that I missed the first time around. Received this Leia yesterday, 8 years late, and it's fantastic. Would they do a better job now, almost a decade later? Hard to see how really, moveable eyes perhaps?

Anyway, very pleased with this one. Just ANH Leia to go, but must admit I'm hoping for an update of that figure as my brother owns it, and despite a strong headsculpt, the outfit is very poor.

An artisan of the new Hope Leia? If so, that's great news.

Man of Hot Air has been saying he expects the OT figures to be remade as Artisan versions this year, but it isn't based on any insider knowledge, just his own expectation.

The only OT figure that has been hinted at via insider as an upcoming Artisan is Cloud City Leia:

Lael, One Sixth Scale Man, said he heard Cloud City Leia "...is coming real soon...and they said it is Artisan."

The same person who told him this was the one who told him about Plo Koon. They also said Hot Toys was going to make Tauntauns.
