Ok, just watched the video and feel a bit better now! She looks good!

Still, it's a shame they removed the lighter brown highlights from the proto!

In the movie the wrap around hair at the back was always a lighter shade than the rest.

It looks terrific!!! The only thing that bothers me at first glance is the seam between the sculpt and the neck.

Depends on who the reseller is I guess! But I would say potentially 8 to 12 weeks.

I am SERIOUSLY happy with the way this turned out in production. I do agree about the hair. It's so weird to me how flat HT have been painting hair lately. But, that being said, I think the figure turned out amazing, and I can't wait to figure out what set-up I want to use. I think the breathing mask around her neck is kind of cool. But I kind of like it sans any accessories and just with her blaster too.

Costume and sculpt look top notch! Gloved hands look a bit shiny and might need a touch of dullcoat. I am curious what material is used for the boots, they look good.

I went with Big Chief Studios for this one. I've waited quite a while already so I'll just have to be patient I suppose.

Wow, that comparison pic is really interesting. I love the ANH version. When I started collecting SW HT's, it was with the intention of the collection being ANH focused, with just a few variants (like this and Jedi Luke.... maybe ESB Han) mixed in. I thought the face on the ANH Leia turned out great. But you can really see how they've progressed here.

Is it me or have hot toys lost the ability to give a non-plastic look to gloves? This and the boba fett images really look "plasticky" which I realise is ironic since they are!! [emoji851]

Such a shame Hot Toys went with a thin cheap material for ANH Leia. Hoth Leia looks the goods all over.

It does seem a bit of the likeness went soft. But other than that, it looks pretty solid. Still, she only cost me $56 so my judgement may be a bit skewed.

It’s magnificent! I always thought ANH Leia looked a bit chubby or ‘full’ in the face, this one captures her bone structure much better.

I just wish they’d show the Endor one and if it has something under the poncho or switchable hair... want to know what you’d get in that but don’t want to miss this either in case there’s only the one look.

Carrie WAS chubbier and more “full” in the face in ANH. She was younger and still had baby fat.

The first pics from Jingobell reminded me of a young Celine Dion lol, but she looks better in the video. Can't wait to add her in my collection!
