While you're at it send them your purchase receipt to show you bought the item from Goodshipped. Goodshipped is one of their distributors, so they will be more inclined to help you, if you can send them that information as well. If you have already sent the pics, you will probably get a reply asking for the purchase receipt anyway. Easier to do it at the same time, to avoid cross information loss and confusion.

Intersting observation about alleged HK ebay seller practices...I've bought from Goodshipped before and he (Leo) seems a stand up guy, however, after reading about these problems with Abe's leg, i remember when Goodshipped sent me my Ironman mkIII. It arrived with a completely floppy right knee joint...It makes me wonder if there's a grain of truth in the earlier allegation...
I'm currently waiting for the Tumbler from him. I paid for it last June. You can be sure i'll be dropping an email to him asking that he send me a mint one. It'll count for ^^^^ however!

Yeah, I'm not going to start throwing unfounded allegations about. As far as I can see goodshipped are a good company. However, when I received my Edward Scissorhands from them I suspected the box had been opened. I did wonder if it was the figure used for their eBay shots. That figure was fine however (and cheap) so I didn't complain.

Makes you wonder though...

OK repairs are underway!

Took Wooksters advice and pulled the broken sections of the knee out using pliers.

As you can see, plastic had pretty much disintegrated, on close inspection I realized the problem seemed to be that the small screw holding the bottom joint of the knee together was too tight. The small piece of plastic left in place wouldn't move at all, I loosened the screw and it started to move freely.

<a href="https://s593.photobucket.com/albums/tt20/Darthgothikus/Abe%20broke/?action=view&current=Abesknee3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i593.photobucket.com/albums/tt20/Darthgothikus/Abe%20broke/Abesknee3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I decided to chance my arm, and got the superglue out! There is a black rubber washer sandwiched between the plastic sections (not very clear in pics - black on black) I figured if the glue only got on one side of it, the joint might still move.

<a href="https://s593.photobucket.com/albums/tt20/Darthgothikus/Abe%20broke/?action=view&current=Abesknee1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i593.photobucket.com/albums/tt20/Darthgothikus/Abe%20broke/Abesknee1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Well it's all back together, and after letting it dry completely, seems to be fine! I've put it back in Abe and tested range of movement carefully and seem as good as new!

We'll have to wait and see how it holds up over time but at least I know if it goes again, replacing for a new knee will be an easy fix.

Don't know what to do on the arms except see if it gets worse and if not try a little re-painting as suggested.

Wow. I could have really used this thread about a week and a half ago. I mean, I got my Abe replaced either way, but this fix looks like something I'm capable of. Saving this info for future referance. Another HT joint break is likely only a matter of time.
