another reason: When he's dressed in black, from some angles he looks like the Grim Reaper. Or a renaissance era ninja.

How can you keep everyone happy thou there so many weapon and colour choices for Ezio!!
DX is the only way to go with two outfits and a ton of weapons and two sculpts lol not likely tho

I will give Altair some credit, he did write all those codex pages that Ezio uses to build his gadgets and weapons.
Doesn't make him less of a boring and bland character though.

Unlike Altair, Etzio can swim ,so should your hot toys etzio figure fall into a swimming pool there is nothing to worry about

That really pissed me off in the first game,it is the same with red dead redemption too,really annoying.

Ya I was like wtf? when i tried to swim in red dead ..and swimming has been a standard thing in the past gta games for ages now, you would think they would put it in red dead you know for herding cattle trough rivers a so on.

Nice pick up by Hot Toys in terms of a game license. Assassin's Creed is one of the hottest new game franchises and well definitely add some variety besides all their Resident Evil Video Game masterpieces.
I'm actually surprised they don't pick up MORE. I mean think of some of the other game licenses (both new and old) in which they can make some terrific figures out of.
Hot Toys should expand the RE license to be a Capcom license. Imagine a release of some Street Fighter figures (not all, we saw how it flopped with the 6" figure lines)
They might as well pick up Halo because that one company releasing that 14" Master Chief is making like the Halo movie and that figure is in development hell.

YES! I've always said how awesome AC figures from Hot Toy's would be, but I never thought that they'd actually make them. I'm happy that they're expanding their video game line. Whether they make Ezio or Altair, I'll buy it, but I hope they make Ezio.

i hope they do ezio as a super DX, both white and black outfits, then a desmond HS and hoodie jeans and shirt, let us buy a second body and have the main characters from the game! then do and allltair as a single figures, bam 3 amazing figures from this game!

I'd be happy if Ezio came with just the standard white costume, twin blades, swappable vambraces and greaves, for example the standard leather ones and the missaglias ones, and a shed load of weapons.

I really hope these sell well enough to warrant HT expanding their video game license but at the same time I hope they don't stop making RE figures as well.

Gotta admit i'll definitely pick up an Ezio. Possibly Altiar if they make him too, but def Ezio. With all the giblets and detail on their costumes the figures will probably look amazing.

I really hope they don't keep us waiting too long on this one. I really really want an Ezio and if things go well an Altair, maybe they could do a both in one, though that's a lot of clothes. Only good thing is the head is the same for both if I remember correctly. Either way I would have to buy 2 because I would need one Ezio and one Altair, haha.
Man I am very happy they picked this up. I gotta echo that Mass Effect would be amazing as well, MAKE IT HAPPEN.
And the most unlikely of all, but my most wanted by far...No More Heroes.

From a business standpoint, Ezio is a better character for Hot Toys, mainly because they can expand upon just the first Ezio figure release. White or black outfit, standard or armored, ACII or Ezio's new look from Brotherhood:
