Hot Toys Avatar: 1/6th scale Avatar Jake Sully Collectible Figure

I've been saying since I saw the film two and half years ago that i would buy this when it eventually came out and the figure looks stunning, so I bit the bullet and pre-ordered this guy. I'm not into PF's or anything, so I think this will be the first time I've owned a piece this big. Can't wait!

Glad to see this is finally shipping. How did that Youtube reviewer get his so fast, does he live in Hong Kong or something? Happy to hear his wife loved the figure, as a female collector it's nice to hear this appeals to women as well.

I preorded mine last year with some Aussie company, so hopefully in the next week or so they should get it and then let me know. Really looking forward to seeing this one.

Guys, prepare to be blown away. Took him out and posed him properly tonight. He's the coolest Hot Toy release in a long time. The eyes are amazing on it. It does have a vinyl/rubber torso which I wasn't expecting. Well done HT. Not one single pic I have seen prepares you for how good he is, even OMG's.

Well, he is so different it's hard to compare him to anything else?
I don't think he is 100% worthington/avatar, but he is just amazing as a collectible. It's hard not to just stare at him. The hair, the eyes, the beads and braiding, the gun, just beautiful. Even the joints don't bother me now.

Certainly he is one of my favorite releases for a long time, I can totally see why he costs more. Anyone who likes Avatar is going to flip over this.

Agreed. I don't think split shipments are necessarily indicative of the production size...

I give up, I held out pre-ordering this thing because of price. But It just so different than anything else they have released in recent memory. I ordered this thing and hope it ships before the end of the month.

Other than the fantastic result from pics, another thing to love about this figure is that its likely going to remain a 'limited edition' collectible as there won't be a whole bunch of versions and variants and remakes

HotToys dosn't invest in a new mold for a body unless it can milk it examples include the predators and iron man any time they can have a new figure made from a repaint the will.Expect more figures made from this body

Seems Jake is selling well since he's started shipping. I hope that means Naytiri will be made, I don't want Jake to have to be posed with out his girlfriend
