My Space Cat-Smurf just arrived and I greeted him with the Detolf mod (big thanks to this forum!)
Bought for approx. $230 inc shipping. Can't figure out how did my e-tailer get it for this price and still make a profit!

Ooh. I think I'll be doing that Wire Rope Clip method to fit Jake Sully into a detolf. Just curious... why is everyone putting him on the bottom of their detolfs? Issue of weight?

Becuase the bottom one is a tiny bit bigger and you can just about squeeze some not as tall figures into the one above when raised.

My Jake figure took a pretty bad fall the other day everything on the figure itself is fine but the ball joint on one of the feet snapped in half Ive fixed the problem just by setting the too pieces back together he still stands fine even with it broken... Wondering if anyone knows a better fix??? 50 plus figures this is the first one to dive and break... Maybe Ill see about getting a replacement peg of evilbay...

how are people displaying this piece since it wont fit in a detolf? has anyone found a suitable replacement for the coveted detolf? (other than the $300 maybang case)

Oh yeah! I remember this license. One and done for Hot Toys, and not even many fans most wanted character. I suspect the same will happen to Prometheus.
