I'm guessing they are working on the Delorean which is incredibly detailed and complicated, so they can reveal them at the same time to bolster sales of both. By comparison, I'd say it's probably about twice as intricate as the Batmobile so we could be waiting a good while.

So I was literally just watching a youtube video about the 2012 HT catalog that was released, because I was wondering when there will be an announcement/reveal for this. And then I come here and search the "New Posts" and this is on top of the thread list. :thud:

Also I agree with Deckard, considering all the details that are to be covered on the Delorean. At this point I would be extremely pleased with a teaser of Marty's shoe or something . . .

Makes me fear for the price...

I think Hot Toys should reveal one pic soon. Set a release date, and release a new picture of the Marty every month until the next collectible in the line is revealed. PLEASE HOT TOYS!!:monkey2

We re due a good few "Backstage" passes actually.Hot Toys have been uncharacteristically quiet of late.

The fact that it is a great deal more detailed really has no reflection on the wait. We have no idea how long they have been working on these.

But sometimes assuming so,may put one at ease; such as myself. That's the only justification I have on this topic at the moment. :lol:monkey3

More detailed and intricate than the tumbler could be a curse, i've seen pics of tumblers with lots of parts broken. Not sure what ratio it is compared to pristine ones though

The DeLorean will be £500 plus when released, I want HT to do it justice though, light up flux capacitor, light up time and dates on the dash. Im sure they will do it right, the Tumbler & 1989 Batmobile look great.

Also Im thinking HT will just go for the first movie as its refrence. so we can forget about hover boards and cowboy costume.

May be in the minority nut i'd much prefer a 2015 Marty than an '80's one

They're just about on the same level for me, but I'd like to see 2015 simply because I already have a 1985 Marty, and just about every accessory they could include with him minus his Chiquita guitar.

Im guessing wel see both anyway. 2015 is an iconic look on its own, and considering how many pieces they can reuse, would make a good choice for a SDCC exclusive or something.

Im much less hopeful about the 1885 look though.

I wonder if they'll do a 2-pack part 1 and Part 2 Marty similar to the recently released Bespin Luke Skywalker DX? I mean essentially the part 2 figure is the same base as the Part 1 (same jeans, red T shirt) but with less (no white check shirt, suspenders, Guess denim jacket, or red vest). Really it would just be the addition of the 2015 jacket, 2015 Nikes, Hoverboard and maybe 2 head-cover options. The hair down look and the 2015 hat.

As for the 1885 western versions, hope they don't overlook these as it would be awesome to have a Marty and Doc from each of the 3 films. Perhaps the western looks would make great Toyfairs exclusives? Produce them in more limited numbers for those who who want all the variations? Just a thought...
