..even with the bloody face ^_^ it's not as good as the HT one, but i take it gladly for the rooted hair to put on my HT Alita ^^

Yeah I saw that earlier. The hair looks nice enough, but I just don't see any likeness at all. It appears to have been completely wiped out by the recasting.

Speaking of, one of my Alitas shipped. Still probably won't get here til the end of next week though, since UPS is so slow and crappy.

The magnet inside her head came loose on mine, but I'd call that a minor annoyance than an actual QC issue.

Well, after not thinking I was going to get this and her going to waitlist in the meantime,
I found a comic shop that had 2 Alitas in stock and for the same price as Sideshow with free shipping
so I grabbed them both.

I don't see another figure of her being made, and don't think that there will be a re-release at all.
Worse case scenario I just sell the extra down the road... though I am tempted to display her in a crazy pose
sans outfit and the badass sword-over-the-shoulder look with the outfit on, lol.

I would guess the run size on her was not nearly as large as their Star Wars and Marvel pieces,
so that would explain the quick jump to waitlist, IMO.
