figure of the year in my book, the most awesome predator figure ever made period.

:slap..............RR can kiss my :moon if that happens. I dont know if anyone knows, but if Legacy didnt get asked permission for that Pred in the movie, and companies start making products based on it, I hope Legacy sues RR up the ass big time.

As blatant as it is, I'm sure the uses of the design was within legal rights. Not sure Legacy really owns it, probably FOX that owns the rights to the design. Not sure how it works for FX companies getting rights or profits from the marketing of their designs, but again, as prominent as the Classic has been for marketing, even NECA doing a figure, I'm sure there's nothing illegal about it, a lawsuit could kill any profit the movie makes.

I have mixed feelings on them being released at the same time. I want them all but want to make sure my finances are availible if they are all released at the same time.

I still can't believe the metal blades. Thats pretty sweet

That's a very nice touch, I've hated the plastic ones on the past Preds, especially ones where the wrist pegs don't come out with easy, you can bend them too easily. If these are like the Wolverine blades, should take a pretty good effort to bend them.

Wolverine had metal blades too? Did not know that. Still, Hot Toys executed this perfectly in my book. But the specs did not mention anything about the body material did they?

Agreed, metal blades is something that HT should have done on all preds but nonetheless they have been doing pretty well with plastic, but now we have metal it's going to look pretty real.

Yup, you can't tell too much looking, maybe a bit more reflective than the plastic in foil style of old Predators, but you can tell by the weight. Like I said, I find the real benefit to be the durability.

They wont. You do know KnB worked for Stan Winston...right? They were part of the original team....

I'm sure they delt with all the isssues before hand. Plus, it isnt an exact replica. It's an almost exact replica.

Sweet, I can stab my neighbors now....:yess:

yeah, good point, but I have no respect for RR nevertheless. I wish I could say I would never get anything from this movie, but I can guarantee you I would never buy the Classic from this film from anyone.

No respect for RR...lmao. The guy respected the damn creature better then the other three idiots before him. He made them villians, and actually theatening again.

I hope if HT releases a classic, they just recycle the P1 parts, if they redid the P1 design and did a better figure I'll be pretty frosted, yet tempted to buy it just to have a better P1 figure.

I would love a redesigned one. The BD bio would also be pretty sick. The redesign would piss a lot of fans off who bought P1 already though.

Greatest Predator figure ever made.
I think I might agree...I love the P1, but the detail on this thing is perfect and I am still not 100% happy at how small the P1 is. The new body type and the painted dreds are really nice. I don't understand why there is so much hate for the "new" design. If you think about any movie that has sequels, the design always changes just a tad and I think the new looks is awsome. This is a definite buy for me.
