Hot toys briareos knee joints broken

Hello,
i got a Briareos from a friend of mine at a good price but i discovered that the both knee joints were broken. I don't want to ask my money back to my friend and i love the figure.

I know that the body used is one of a Predator.
I haven't yet tried to contact hottoys but from what i read they re not very good to reply consumers requests.

So is there any place where i can buy those knee joints?
Or any compatibles knee joints ?

Take some pictures of the knees under the skin. I had no idea it used a Predator body.

thanks for your answer.
It's a modified predator body (it has plate on the thighs to make it more muscular and the calf part is i think longer).

Same thing happened to my Appleseed Tereus,and DK Batman. Seems like figures with rubber suits have this problem. I was able to fix DK but not tereus. Seem like bodies made of that black plasic have brittle knee joints. Hot Toys need to address this issue. I won't be buying anymore figures with rubber suits anymore.

Ouch. I dunno how much you can do to fix that. Maybe find a replacement knee from ebay off of a predator. It's hidden under a suit anyway so no one can see it. And the lins to the first 3 pics didn't work.

Only way to fix that is to have a spare knee part.

Sounds like your fig ran into ...

Sorry hope you didn't take it the wrong way. I meant the God father pic and the hot toys mafia thing was funny. Not you getting a bum end of the deal. How much is that in US dollars? Well either way it's too expensive for a broken figure. Did you bring it up to him? He shoudl at least be concerned a bit right?

Yeah i hoped someone could confirm that but in doubt i rather be safe and stick to the Pred.
It could be checked if someone could post a regular kneejoint picture.

Hello guys!

Did anyone have any after sales support experience with Hot Toys? Do they offer any help to their clients like Enterbay? I got a defective WOD Lee with a smudged eyebrow a while ago so I emailed to Enterbay and shipped my figure to HK for repairs. The guys Enterbay were great with it and had figure sent back the moment it was fixed.

I just got my Appleseed Deunan figure today and she came missing with her right ankle guard. Apparently that part of the figure is very loose, prone to go missing. I'll be surprised if I'm the only guy who had this problem.

Now I wonder if Hot Toys offer some kind of replacement part service. I could hope and wait for Ebay for the assorted parts but those don't come very often and if they do they fly off very fast. I've already wrote them an email but don't know if they'll reply back.rc helicopters

Yes, I can confirm that: The regular knee joints work fine on predator body..(has the same shape and size ) but the regular pin is slightly wider (but very, very litle) than predator one.
fortunately it has an easy solution: file the pin with a lime and then the knee joints will fit properly and firmly.
