I'd maybe get an animated version. Perhaps SS will do one as part of the animated run they're doing. The Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda look pretty good.
Not getting live action Bane. No figure from BoBF will ever appear in my collection.

That's the Cad Bane we should've gotten!! Then this figure would've sold like crazy.

Such a little change would've made all the difference in the world.. How did no one who worked on the show see that.... ******* Disney... :slap

Too bad HT didn't offer 2 heads with all these Clone Wars figures. A movie head and a cartoon head.

I prefer every aspect of sideshows version over Hot toys version. The sculpt, clothing, skin color etc. Even with a different hat, sideshows looks better, to me.

Even though we all know Sideshow’s production Cad Bane will look nothing like that amazing proto, it’s mere existence has killed any desire I had to own this version- and I’ve already paid my PO for the deluxe…

I guess it’ll be good to have on reserve for if the SSC figure comes out even worse than the already dramatic decrease in quality that is strongly evidenced to be inevitable.

This is an interesting conundrum that this is currently presenting. Most people (myself included) were very excited to finally see Bane make his live action appearance. When the HT version dropped for PO the response was overwhelmingly positive. Three expressions, optional rocket boots to emulate his Clone Wars look and Todo. I am happy to have it on PO.

Then SS shows off, what I think, is a very solid looking prototype of Bane, but based on his true Clone Wars look. However, given SS past performance on sixth scale products and the recent production versions of Anakin and Kenobi from Clone Wars, many of us are skeptical about this. I think that proto looks fantastic and I always thought his Clone Wars look was great.

Really hoping the SS version turns out good so I can snatch that up. But for now I'll settle with the BoBF version.

I'll wait for both final versions to decide. If SSC produces a proto quality figure -which is a big question mark-, it'll be the definite Cad Bane.

Watch HT come back and show a new big brim accessory to compete with SSC. Doubtful but they are updating figures much more lately it seems after fan feedback - Peacemaker, Battinson sculpt…either way someone will make a CW style hat for the HT one.

I’m still on board for the BOBF version. Sure I love CW Cad, but he just looked terrifying in BOBF

I don’t think there’s much competition tbh, they’re essentially business partners.

HT has nothing to worry about going up against a Sideshow figure.

He's a great character, so I love that he is getting love. I don't have any animated characters in my collection, so overall I prefer the HT/live action look, but what I would really love is essentially the HT figure, slightly darker blue, with the SS hat and jacket.
