How was the Hot Toys Chewbacca? Was it good enough to where Krrsantan would be a similar/good product?

For me the last pic looks like Danny DeVito

It's been years since they made a Chewie so we have no idea what one would be like now.

They're not gonna make Black K though, it's probably too much effort for such a minor character. It would be cool though.

The only Hot Toys Chewbaccas were in 2015 and 2017 so it's hard to say. ANH version was fine but not perfect and the TFA version was... unfortunate.

I think they could do better now, but the TFA version kind of set a low bar.

I don't think they'd do a Black Kruller figure either way since they haven't even done ESB/ROTJ Chewbacca.

The ANH one turned out pretty good. Force Awakens was pretty bad. I think they mainly suffered from trying to make the mouth moveable. If HT dropped that for alternate heads, BK would turn out pretty good I think.

Love Cad Bane, will look amazing Im sure. Bit worried about materials but still.

I hope we get Boba from this show. I like the outfit a bit more then the one in Mando S2 but I am definitley still getting that version.

I really want Krrsantan but I don't know if they will do it, there're a lot of differences between him and Chewie so for sure it's not just a repaint. I think Krrsantan will be a mix of fur and sculpted braids if they do it.

Back to Bane. Since the one HT teased is the open mouth face, I think they will give us a normal face as well. I'm happy with just these two if that's the case.

I recall the adjective for the TFA version was "abomination". I have the ANH and he's great. Sure could be improved, but probably also not price justifiable these days ??

Although I would totally get a Black K. He would look epic on the shelf !

yesterday i was thinking “you know what? i kind of like how far out this release is. dont have any preorders on the horizon that im THIS excited for, it’s something to look forward to.”

today feeling more like: “is this shipping yet??”

already cant wait. i just hope they put up preorders soon so we’re not stuck in this prototype purgatory for too long.

I can't imagine them not making a version of Fett. Regardless of whether the show was well received or not, Fett will sell. Ok, maybe I'm not the best person to gauge interest

Bane could so easily include multiple, swap-out faceplates. Pop the hat off, swap face, hat back on- simples. But this is HT so we know better than to hope.

Personally, I’d like to see his evil, slanted grin with more squinted eyes

But most of all I want the animated look

Bane with a full, round chin just ain’t right.

I don’t think we’d get an animated look outside of Sideshow doing one in their animated line. Best from HT would be a Bad Batch or CW version with the live action head (not out of the realm of possibilities since HT likes a good reuse opportunity for some unique tooling).

Cad Bane and Black Kazakhstan would be it, for me. They really would be stand-outs on a BoBF display.
