Both of those points were discussed at length in the film thread. I'm too lazy to post it here :p

Right. Probably going to be two separate figures, that is, IF they decide to do both Caps. I think they will. :)

I think they will as well. :rock

I think we'll see Cap first, then Red Skull and later a USO Cap figure. This film doesn't seem to have too many characters who look cool enough to be made into figures, unlike Iron Man and Thor.

So in order to cash in to the max, HT will probably release a separate USO Cap.

Having said that, I hope we'll see a 2 in 1 figure too, but I highly doubt it...

I think thats the way it will go down as well. Makes more sense for HT as it allows them to make mor $$.

Good points.

Glad to see Josh and I are not the only ones looking forward to a USO Cap. :hi5:

Hell yeah :hi5:

I hope we see some pics soon, this will look great next to my Iron Man, Black Widow and Thor.

All a DX is really is the PERS and really not much else other than a pricetag, I would rather they just keep the Avengers MMS offerings.

How would Iron Man get PERS since the armor helmet has no eyes? :lecture
Right. Only the classic Iron Man, from the comics, had eyes.

Most of his comic suits pre-2006 sucked.
Ouch!
That's a little harsh, I think.
Back in the early 80's, his armor was great. One of the best looks for a superhero during that time.

By the 1990's the armor had already gone through numerous revisions. The Hall of Armors was already filled with countless Marks. Each one of them with the trademark Iron Man hand repulsors, narrow rectangular cut-outs in the helmet for Tony's eyes, and chest reactor.

There's no comparison, of course, to the more recent armors and the current artistic interpretation certainly has a more modern style.

If the armor we have today is great, will we say that it "sucks" thirty years from now?

It's called evolution. :peace

So here's the latest Cap prototype pic from HT's ultra-secret development team:

Thoughts? :snake

Oh Man! I had this comic as a little kid! I remember carrying it around because IM was one of my favorites!
Nice! Me too! :hi5:

You'll recognize the name at the bottom of the comic. ;)

He was actually an old man in the comics but was a necessary bad guy because he funded criminals and provided them with weapons if they agreed to give him an equal share of the loot.

I have a good feeling we will see more of Sam Rockwell in Iron Man 3. :yess:
