Forget that. Give him some weathering like with the Iron Man figures. I have no want to sit and weather my figures they need to come with some weathering.

Which Iron Man figures?
Certainly not War Machine or the MKIV, mine look like they just rolled off the Stark industries assembly line.

Just how much weathering is enough is the problem if a company opts to do it. Thankfully HT doesnt usually.
I sure as heck dont want bullet marks on my shield.
If fans are so inclined to dirty him up it can usually be done with minimal effort to taste.
However reversing or reducing factory weathering can be a pain if the buyer isnt wild about the "worn" look.

The Mark IV and Mark VI both have little nicks and such all over the armor.

I'd take a look like whats up there in that pic to be honest. If they want to back off that some thats cool. I just would like some weathering to him. So while some may want to weather their own figures I do not and don't have the talent to pull off what I want. I'd rather have the companies do it with whatever talents their workers have. Just like I really prefer how SS weathers the clones. Some want clean and forget that these guys need to look like they've been in battle.

Well Hot Toys just announced that they will NOT be attending the Tokyo Toy Fair which means the first time we see Cap just might be at SDCC at the Sideshow Booth.

Why would they not go to the Tokyo Toy Fair? That is like the US deciding not to go the the Summer Olympics. How hard is it to send a few reps with a few figure reveals?

I could see that being totally possible. Captain America being revealed at America's biggest Con would be cool.

I am really hoping you're right also. If HT's can bring a ho-hum character to life such as they did with New Goblin, I can't wait to see what comes of Captain America. I am beginning to feel like the Superman guys wanting this figure and the Cap movie hasn't even come out yet.

I'm kind of disappointed that they still haven't revealed Captain America but instead they've given us that lame New Goblin figure to look at.

I wouldn't get too hyped about this license. SP thread posted the latest HT poll and Cap was 2nd to last. Beat out by MGS. SP, batman and superman. Asian community isn't supporting the line HT won't be in a hurry to release it and probably get 1 maybe 2 figures
