As these are arriving now in our greedy little hands I thought it was time to consolidate images into one thread. Feel free to repost your pics here! :D

Okay, I'll kick it off with some images I posted earlier and a mini review. Here's my first impression...

Toy Square rocks, well packed and shipped in heavy protective box, the HT box was wrapped in tissue paper, very considerate, nice...

The holo box art is beautiful. Okay, the good part, when I removed the figure from the box the first thing I noticed was how great the suit/outfit looks! Well tailored to the figure, not bulky at all and it is a silvery grey almost silky like material, looks amazing, vest is great too as is the rest of it down to the belt shoes and socks! The dress shirt has clear plastic clamps with a longer peg, just slide it out and the shirt opens.

The trenchcoat is extremely well made, has a terrific color to it and is packed in a sealed bag in an additional protective plastic case which sits behind the figure case.

The figure itself looks tons better than the pics I've seen, really good paint apps this time and the glasses are very cool. It comes with a second set of hands too and another Superman head which is also very well painted.

I see no problems with his appearance and will keep him just as he is as I'll pose him wearing glasses in the iconic tear-away shirt pose. Overall I am even HAPPIER than I thought I'd be... just wait till you guys see him in hand! :D

The suit looks bulkier here than it is in hand but the colors aren't far off...

A bit out of focus here but you get the idea!

Here's another from a different angle...

nice pics.
but from what i see, the suit does look a bit, puffy or not as tight fitting.
i like the hand jionts of medicom though.

high quality figure indeed...

Remember that under the lined jacket is a vest, dress shirt AND "S" Shield shirt but the suit fits very well when seen in hand... it does take some futzing though, especially around the shoulders, best to pull the vest in, then pull the jacket down over it for a leaner fit.

Puffy? What... It's beefy. Like in the 6'4 linebacker looks beefy in his coat.

Great pics! Love the torn shirt transforming look. Mine will spend a lot of time in that pose as well, I predict.

:lol Yeah, you can tell there is a total stud under there but honestly, in hand, the clothes fit very well, you'll see... :D

There is limited articulation at the shoulders though, you would too if you were wearing 4 layers of clothing!

I may try a pose where CK is sitting in a chair or something, holding his glasses (sans jacket and vest) with his dress shirt open exposing the "S" shield shirt, like it was a rough night at the "office"...

It would also be very cool if someone did a battle damaged version where Clark had a partially torn "S" shirt with a scar on his abdomen or chest but I don't have the nerve to do that with this fig...

Or perhaps similar to that image of Clark/Superman at his home in his chair that Alex Ross did? That would be cool if you could pull that one off.

Sweet pics, pjam. I like the one where he has his hand up to his glasses. Nice review too. :rock

Thanks Batty
I noticed when I took these pics how well this sculpt works; CK can look "mild-mannered" holding his glasses like that or fairly kick ass ripping his shirt open like in the last pic, mark of a great sculpt.

Yeah, I think Alex was inspired by some of those 1950s Adventures of Superman TV episodes; in one "Panic in the Sky" Superman had temporary amnesia after returning from blasting an asteroid and came back home, opened his closet and saw these Superman costumes. He later put one on with his glasses still on, sat in a chair and busted a table, triggering his memory he was Superman.

In another cool episode "Shot in the Dark", some kid photographer caught a night shot of Clark in an alley with his shirt pulled completely open in mid transformation, revealing the "S" shirt.. it was later explained away as a double exposure and Clark fried the negative with his super peepers. :lol

The actual TV Series was filmed just a couple blocks from my house, it's a mini-mall now on sunset and la brea here in the 'wood next to Jim Henson Studios (Former Charlie Chaplin Studio).

Great shots of that HT Clark P!

But, I will be repainting mine! :lol
He has to match what I now have with my Supes!

But, I am glad to see from you that he is a better factory finish than before.
That in itself is good news!

Up, up and away! indeed!

Thanks bro, I would expect nothing less from the master! :lol

I will be posing him mostly with glasses on so it works for me, besides I already have so much in the pipeline Les stuff coming (when you have time)! :D

He does look pretty good wearing glasses, but I always thought with his glasses removed he would need an eye/eyebrow tweak to look more like Brandon.... Can't wait to see your finshed paint up!

Hopefully, March will open some paintup doors for me again.
I have a HUGE project in progress for all of February, or I would be taking paints now. You'll see soon enough! Can't wait to share it with you.

But yeah, I was thinking, yeah...wait'll you get a load of my Clark! When I get him that is....and get to him...ahem! You know... sometime! This year....:D

He looks great Pjam. I still wish I got that first HT Supes.

I hear ya sm and I'm sure you'll dig Clark as much as me.

I just bought the SR CE DVD and watched it again last night, the HT outfit is about as exacting as you'll ever find but, you can still hunt one down on ebay for a decent price if you are diligent. :D

And with a Les repaint you can have this...

I just got my Clark Kent today and once again Hot Toys knocks one out of the park. He is very impressive and looks great next to HT Superman!

He even has socks!!!

Awesome bardoon! So glad you dig him too! Please post some pics when you get a chance bro! :D

Actually the outfit is completely film-accurate except for the dress shirt (Brandon wore a light blue shirt) but I'd MUCH rather have a white shirt because it contrasts so beautifully when open against the "S" shield shirt.

I'll post some pics tonight! I just got Clarky and he is grand.

Does anyone know how limited these guys are? Looking at my COA, clearly they've made at least 582 of them. :lol
