I don't think you can swap the Clark Superman head with the Superman head. You can swap the necks, I think.

I think I read that the HT generic body comes with an extra neck like the Clark so maybe you can swap that neck with Superman.

EDIT: EvilFace beat me to the post.

Mine's on the UPS truck, due for delivery today!
Look for pics upon arrival!

:chew :chew :chew

BTW, I can take the HT heads off the necks. Do it all the time with HT Superman heads for repaints. No biggie. Not hard to do.

Ye thinks correctly P!
GOT HIM!

I stand corrected. The new one has a ball joint on the top of his neck, that fits up into his head into a special rubber gasket, whereas the original Superman has a ballpost that goes into his head. The neck comments were accurate. I assume the whole neck can be switched then. If the same ball joint is in the base body...

Look for repaints when I can get to them.

Nice figure! Bit too bulky with the suit for me. Might actually remove the Super shirt underneath, for a better overall fit. I want him with the coat on, and right now, he puffs up a bit like the Stay Puft marshmallow man. :D
One too many layers for 1/6th.

Its not the Clark figure, but I just got the regular Supes in the mail today! I have to say I'm completely blown away!!! He's really a great example of where the 1/6 market is heading towards in terms of quality. And even the paint apps (or lack of) aren't as bad in person! Sweet figure!!!

If the same ball joint is in the base body? Would the original HT have this Ball joint to just attach to the neck or are you saying just swap the neck itself?

I also am considering removing the Super shirt underneath, I really like it but after futzing with it I really like the Clark look with coat better. He is definitely quite puffy with everything on...

I just got it in the mail, and I can personally say this is the finest figure I've EVER had in my collection!! It is also my first non-Sideshow 12" figure.

Here are some pics. I'm sorry they suck, I'm not much of a photographer:

Even though I don't own the original HT Supes, I find it hard to believe that it could possibly be better than the CK. As it has been said, the tailoring is beautiful, the headsculpt is truly great, the paint job is very realistic, in person, and the articulation is amazing.

Since my only previous 12" figs came from Sideshow, I never understood why collectors bashed the standard SS 12" bodies. Now I do. The HT articulation is FLAWLESS and the body is very proportional.

This is definitely a five star figure. Maybe not a 140$ figure, but I am not complaining since it is a late Christmas gift. Now if only we could get a 12" Christopher Reeve, or if HT could make a good Lex Luthor to go along with Supes!

:D So stoked you're diggin' on Clark, Doc. Now you know why I've been touting HT ad nauseum for almost a year now on this board! :D Welcome to the party, pal! Yes indeed, it's a great one, love this shot bro!

For those of you thinking about removing the "S" shield shirt

WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! :lol HAVE YOU LOST YOUR COLLECTIVE MINDS??!! (GET IT, "COLLECT"-IVE?!!) :lol

I think if I experience any puffyness issues with the 4 layered look, I'll remove the the vest, not the damn Superman defining Supes shirt. :D

Take it from me: hands and neck are interchangable.

Some qucik pics...

For some reason, I'm digging the old Superman head, with the more conservative paint ops and more determined face, on the Clark body more than the more progressively painted head with the softer expression.

I love the new Supes head, I gotta get me a new neck and swap out.

GPB - great shots man. That last picture is now my desktop. Great photography.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I just wish I understood lighting better and had a better camera. But I do what I can.

What type of camera do you have? Cause what ever you have is better than the one I have (which is nothing :banghead )

I have a borrowed camera. :lol (It's gotta go back in a couple days.)

Looks like it's a 2.1 megapixel Olympus C-2100 with Optical Zoom and a macrolens attachment.
