I don't think I'd want a Clone Wars Ahsoka. I prefer her older adult look from Rebels.

Less pervy. :lol

I'll be honest watching season 1-2 it was always weird to me that Ahsoka ran around in a tube top. Not pervy to me like at all; but more like impractical. Even younglins wear robes. Was odd. I also would have a hard time displaying that because it just looks so different than every other Jedi figure.

There's zero chance they're not just taking advantage of the trooper armor they've already designed for the film clones. Anyone thinking they will do an animated style is dreaming.

Literally before today their last figure up for preorder was the Spider-Gwen that they developed a new body for.

True, I forgot about her and stand corrected.

HT really needs to perfect their female body, including bare legs and arms. They are missing out on a ton of money by not doing so, or maybe this is their way of directing already-scarce factory resources.

I don't think the bodies are the problem. For Ashoka, the head pieces will limit articulation for sure. They might as well go with the seamless arms.

I mean just look at the teaser image, those are realistic clone helmets. They don’t look stylized whatsoever.

Seamless arms belong on statues. I'd rather have visible joints on an action figure instead of cracked rubber arms after posing.

Seamless body is a nightmarish experience, good luck with the inevitable deterioration, have a glance at HT's WW. Im glad HT not using those on Endor Leia, this is a action figure, I don't give a **** about exposed joints.

BTW, this is a Clone Wars Animated license and it is hilarious people keep saying they want realistic sculpts.

Same here, if they wanna give the option and include seamless arms to swap out sure, but I don't want it to be my only choice for a figure.

Well the fact that they just did the Spiderverse figures and developed that teenage female body, I don’t think you can say with very much certainty that HT wouldn’t do an animated expression. I sincerely hope not, but it’s possible.

Honestly is Ahsoka is made wearing the "heart of Mandalore" uniform that we saw in the last couple of episodes then I'd probably get her. Past that I don't have much of an interest even though I will admit they did her storyline right. I want The Bad Batch for sure, Rex, Bo-Katan, hopefully some other Night Owls and Mandos. Gar Saxon, Maul, I'm even hoping that they'll go back even further and give us Pre Vizsla and the Deathwatch.

They are also $200+, if I wanted exposed joints on a figure I?d be collecting Black Series or something.

Its amazing how divided the community is on some issues

seamless vs jointed bodies
animated vs realistic sculpts
rooted vs sculpted hair
Solo being a good or bad movie
Hoping HT acknowledges May 4th in some way and then hating them for doing it

There's nothing wrong with someone wanting something. I would prefer they were realistic so they would fit into the rest of my SW collection. But will still be instant POs if they were in the animated way. (Hell, even the May 4th banner on Disney+ shows Ahsoka in a 'realistic' style)

As I've said before, the teaser points to realism. Why would Hot Toys do that? They've clearly gone to the trouble to create a body/armour/paint job to present for this tease. You think they would then go back to the drawing board to do an animated one after teasing a realistic one?

Furthermore, they already have previous figures to reuse. Heads, bodies and clothing for Obi, Ani, Yoda, Cody, Mace (Fury), Fisto from last year's reveal and also Padme. Aside from repaints and minor clothing/armour adjustments, the only figure they would really need to work on would be an Ahsoka which would probably turn out to be one of their biggest sellers.

To think that people won't think that Hot Toys would jump at the chance to maximise their profit while keeping their own production costs down is hilarious.

Putting aside the realistic vs animated debate fro a while, I'd like to see the following for an Ahsoka figure

1. Season 7 outfit (although season 3-5 would also be good - could be a convention exclusive)
2. Two headscupts - A neutral portrait and one with her more serious battle ready expression
3. Swap out lekku in different poses
4. Both her green and blue lighsaber sets (only need to swap the blades for this)
5. Cloak tailored to her lekku for that classic silhouette
6. If season 7 outfit, a Tano trooper helmet, but
weathered and damaged to reflect the end of the last episode

Anything else?

It would be a huge surprise for me if the head sculpts were cartoonish/animated. Would be fun if they included both versions, but no way they would only give us an animated head with a realistic movie accurate body.

Agree with you there momaw. Loved her season 7 outfit. I also kind of like her jumpsuit outfit before the Siege of Mandalore but can't see that being made though.

The last 4 episodes of Clone Wars were excellent. Watched them back to back last night - a great end to May 4th.
I'm definitely intrigued to see how Hot Toys sculpts these, particularly Ahsoka. My preference would be more life like than cartoon, so that I can pair her with Anakin and Obi-Wan.

I would be happy with just a Hot Toys Ahsoka from Clone Wars.

What I would really love, is if Hasbro made more figures in the quality of the Legacy collection. With those game cards included. They were such a good range of figures.

I was gutted they never made an admiral trench or Riff Tamson, and we needed a Dutchess Satine. So many missed opportunities. The Black Suns and Pikes would have been great too :(
