Like others have said I'd imagine most of their announcements will be made at the other toy shows, but its possible we might see some shared license announcements (like Terminator) at SDCC.

Either way, I have a feeling I'll be ordering a lot of stuff from them

A surprise for Hot Toys for SDCC?? How about the announcement of the Twilight Saga license in the MMS Series. I know many freaks of this forum would want a DX Edward Cullen to go with Blade.

If anything I think we might see the Avatar stuff, but that might come at the asian toy shows before.

I wonder why HT hasn't tackled Avatar yet.

Tokyo Toyfair is 15-18th of July. HK Ani-Com is July 30th-2nd August. Mark your calendars. With these two shows and SDCC in between, I'm expecting great things, given the fact that Howard Chan said HT would be tackling classic movies this year as part of HT's ten year anniversary, that poll they put up last December asking what we want to see in 2010, and the interview where he said 2010 is going to be really busy for them. Now that we're in the second half of the year, expect major announcements in the coming weeks and months of new figures and licences.

HT can keep their Tron, Abigail Whistler and their repeated Predator gang of thugs, bring on Keaton, Reeve, Hulk, Avengers, Blade 1 and another Tumbler with less plastic, glue stains, broken flaps and an 89 Batmobile while they're at it and maybe a V3 of TDK Bats that doesn't leak and can actually hold bad ass poses and who doesn't have a giraffe neck!
