Re: Speculation : Hot Toys "The Mandalorian" Figures
Really hope that's not the case. That would be lame.

No lamer than someone simply copying Fett's style.
Come on, open your heart, Hoody.
I wanna be there when in the last episode of last season we discover that the guy IS Boba Fett.
So, if Hot Toys has the license for Star Wars does this mean they will be able to also do figures from The Mandolorian ? Would you buy figures from a Star Wars TV series ?
As this appears to be initially set on Tatooine or somewhere similar, is this the chance for Hot Toys to also get into OT aliens like Tusken Raiders, Jawas or whatever other characters show up in The Mandolorian ?

There must be a woman inside (the adventures of young Holdo???) ...
I’m interested to see how this show incorporates the canon from the Clone Wars.
In the Expanded Universe Mandalore was a failed state and it’s surface was ruined by the Yuzan Vong unable to sustain crops and depleting its natural resources. Even though Jango and Boba were never real native born Mandalorians they both were trained in their ways and practiced their codes of honor. Later on revealing that Boba was supposed to be their leader because no one else would do it. He formed a strong fighting force and fostered pride in their home world and their traditions.
The Clone Wars blew all that apart. Including the fact that most Mandalorians were white with blond hair.
After just doing Enfys Nest surely they wouldn't do that again.
Apparantly Pedro Pascal from GoT is a favourite for the main role.
Can only hope. Pascal is great in pretty much everything I’ve seen him in.
Yeah totally agree. Going by the performance in Game of Thrones he'd totally fit the bad ass guy kicking a** in the outer rim.
One o&the worse ideas they ever had _making jango not mandoSeason 2 episode 12 The Mandalore Plot. Obi-Wan talks to Almec about the deathwatch and states that he ran into Jango Fett not to far back and asks about him. Almec states the Jango Fett is a low life bounty hunter and how he acquiredthe armor is beyond him. Almec however was Prime Minister of the New Mandalorian government, and also falsely stated that all warrior caste Mandos were extinct, so it's something that can be questioned.
