I’d be in for all 5 of these. Unfortunately, they’re not armor repaints, so it might be a stretch if even one or two of these get produced (not to mention Cad Bane, Qi’ra or any other surprise characters that show up in the next 5 episodes . HT usually starts putting their Dis+ figures up once the series concludes, so still a few more weeks to go.
Yes true. They like to hedge their bets by having a couple of no brainers first (Fett + Fennec) then see how the show is received. No doubt they have a few prototypes in ready. Question is will they make 3-4 more or 2 or 6 ?

I have a feeling most probably 6 or more if the final episodes really kill it !

It'll be interesting to see how episode 3 turns out. I have a feeling it might be a bit filler-ish. The flashback story of episide 1 and 2, now that we've covered the sarlaac escape, Boba joining the Tuskens, feels like the end of a story arc. I suspect any flashback scenes in episode 3 will be to setting up the next phase of that story. Or setting up a new series of flashbacks.
My guess for the crime lord stuff, is that Boba will be consolidating his power in Mos Espa and preparing for the twin Hutts.
If it's true that the last 3 episodes will be bug and epic, could be that the next 2 episodes will be set up. Hope not.
Personally I liked the flashback stuff a lot more than the crime lord stuff. I think the crime lord part of the story needs to be the larger focus for a bit so they can develop it more.
I agree for the most part. I’ve been really enjoying the flashback stuff because thats when we see the change from 1-dimensional personality OT Boba to someone worthy of being called a badass. I have a feeling that biker gang will retaliate and wipe out the tribe. It be interesting if its the same gang that terrorized Cobb Vanth‘s little town. Boba’s on their trail that ends at Mos Pelgo but then witnessing a fella wearing his armor taking them out? Idk, just a thought.
Yes I think they need to show more crime lord stuff to. Also I think he needs at least 1 fight scene to rival his debut Mando ep In his new get up.

I'm biased but I consider Bane and Bossk as no brainer lol.

This is one of the many problems with Lucasfilm/Disney Star Wars. What does an actor's personal life have to do with Boba Fett, the most mysterious and feared bounty hunter in the galaxy? Morrison should absolutely NOT be projecting himself into the character, he should be playing the existing legacy character to the best of his ability. So damn stupid.

The article title represents like a paragraph or 2 in the entire article. I get that the Tusken dance was inspired by the Haka but besides that, they can say whatever they want.

The dance was certainly very out of place but it's far more than that. They made the highly anticipated Sarlaac Escape scene a pathetic 30 seconds long while dedicating two whole episodes to a trope nobody asked for meant to retcon and humanize the Sand People. Morrison is also obviously in love with taking his helmet off which is a blatant contradiction of the character.

We're only 2 episodes in. It could get worse. :lol :monkey5

But it’s part of the Tusken culture, which Boba is being adopted into. I think it’s pretty cool, I have my problems with the show but the insight into the Tuskens is honestly the best part of it so far. This tribe are warriors, Boba is one too, as was Jango.

At the end of the day it’s not up to TM, it’s up to the showrunners and Lucasfilm, so the blame doesn’t entirely rest on his shoulders.

I don’t mind the Maori stuff at all but we definitely need to see more Boba Fett action, which hopefully we’re getting sometime soon.

It certainly can't be ruled out. After all this is the company that extended Kathleen the ***** Kennedy for three more years and put season three of The Mandalorian out to pasture for at least two years. This ridiculous iteration of "Boba Fett" is likely not salvageable but I still hope there are some cool moments on the show like the wookiee that lead to a couple desirable HT figures.

We're nearly at the 3rd episode and Boba has fired only a single blaster shot and fired a rocket once. Not used his jetpack at all.
I think the show could really do with a Mando debut style fight scene in tomorrow's episode really.
We had some nice action in the train scene but I think, alongside focusing on the crime lord stuff for awhile, they need to show Boba using his weapons and gadgets, not just whacking people with a stick in flashbacks.
On one hand, it seems like plenty of time, 5 episodes left, but they're running 2 storylines in flashbacks and current day crime lord stuff. Difficult balance and so far, personally I don't think they're doing very well with the crimelord stuff.

I'm starting to think they are over-hyping this crime lord thing. 5 episodes left with some flashbacks left to go. It's not a real crime family show if you don't dive into the stories of the underbosses.

It doesn't have to be a mafia show to be entertaining but it doesn't seem like this show is one.

Crimelord stuff should be the main focus of the show, not the flashbacks. Hopefully the focus shifts however I don't have high hopes it will.

People acting like we HAVE to wrap this up in one season. I am expecting a heavy cliffhanger at the end of these episodes, because the problems Fett faces are NOT going to be wrapped up in the next 4? episodes, not at all. We're gonna be free-falling till next year. Just like we were with Mando

Instead of expecting immediate resolution/gratification, I am doing what I can to enjoy the ride. YMMV.

Totally. We're only just getting started !! Bring it on !!

Why are we wasting 2 episodes of a 7 episode series that is supposed to be about Boba Fett on Tusken/Morrison's culture. Nobody asked for this. We already know who they are and what they do. They are local savages who kidnap, murder, trade, and live off the land. Why is more elaboration needed, when do the Jawas get their turn, etc etc where does it end? This was supposed to be a highly anticipated show about the mythic and vicious bounty hunter Boba Fett that has inexplicably turned into a cultural show about "misunderstood" indigenous people starring Temuera Morrison's face as a bumbling Boba Fett.

I say this gently and respectfully: this show is what it is. The producers are not going to yank it down and reshoot the whole thing because myself or anyone else happens to not like it. Are there things about it i would not have done? Sure. But it is what it is.

Frankly, I hated "Visions." Just hated it. Keeping in mind the sunk-cost fallacy, i quietly walked away after a few episodes. Other people loved it - okay, cool. But not me. Actually when Metallica changed their formula, i walked away from that music without a backward glance as well.

Love him, hate him: as it stands now, T. Morrison IS the face of Boba Fett. This wont be changing soon, either.

Progression happens. Only you can determine whether or not that progression erodes your interest to the point of your walking away. I walked away from SW for decades at the mere sight of an ewok: can relate.
