After much deliberation, I finally place a pre-order for this guy eventhough I'm not really a fan of Luke's character.

I just thought it will be a bummer to miss #7 when you're getting all the DX plus w/ it's price, this figure is definitely worth it w/ all the accessories included.

In my opinion, it is fine if they mass produce these, that way everyone can have one if they want it. I don't want to have to hunt down a piece for my collection and pay outrageous prices for it. This is my opinion, but I collect things for my enjoyment, not for the feeling that I have something that very few people have. I love Star Wars and so do others. We should all be able to build our collections for our own enjoyment, and not have to be at the mercy of flippers and scalpers.

These aren't mass produced. This one is most likely not more than 4,000 pcs. It hasn't sold out yet, cuz it's friggin expensive as hell.

You might not have to. For all you know, the one Sideshow is releasing next year may be much better than you expect. It won't be '77, but would that stop you if it had none of the issues the first one did?

Actually no, it probably wouldn't. I like all the OT Vader suit variations, so if SSC fixed what I didn't like about the last one, then I'd consider getting it for sure, yeah.

I'd still like to see what HT could do with Vader though, then compare them. However as you say, it might a long wait..
