Pardon me but it's 1/6 Hot Toys Original trilogy Bespin Luke Skywalker. WTF is there to think about if you're a SW fan?

:)
:lol
True, I am a SW fan, but I'm not the biggest Luke fan. From the OT I like Obi-wan, Han and Vader the most, Luke comes after them for me. I prefer the Jedi look, but who knows if HT will in fact make a Jedi Luke that's the main reason I'm on the fence with this guy

We put a man on the moon. I think we can create a damn furball

Yeah, but I want a definitive one, dammit! :p Haven't seen a 1:6 Chewie yet that looks even remotely decent. There's problems with fake fur, for sure, and sculps look awful. Just my opinion but I think it'll be a while. Seems like there's lots of easier stuff to tackle in the meantime until they figure something out.

Have never been a huge Luke fan, but Bespin is definitely my favourite iteration and I've always kinda liked that even half-trained he had the audacity to try and take Vader on (and did a pretty credible job for a bit). Beyond that, I think Hot Toys really nailed the spirit of the character -- especially the BD version. Lot of options with this set for display, too, which is nice.

WTF is there to think about if you're a 1/6th collector?? People are shelling out 1000s for Pee Wee Herman and Val Kilmer figures, or buying their 15th different Iron Man or Predator yet there's still complaints over getting two bad ass Luke Skywalker figures for 135 each (that's what mine came to through AE)? This is a no-brainer for me.

I wonder how hard it would be to convert this to a ROTJ version.

I'm sure it won't be hard. Just dress the regular in a Jedi Luke costume and your done. Although I would think the Medicom clothes would fit better and look less baggy than sideshows. Plus SS vest is all wrong. Medi has them beat on the accuracy of the costume.

Just a few photochop pics with my phone. I know they are bad but it will probably look pretty good with the Jedi suit.

You could always sell the costume and make the regular a Jedi version. Hmmmmmm........

You're right!

Sell me your BD Luke!

I don't know why I never considered using the regular sculpt for a ROTJ Luke...

Only problem is, don't the Sideshow clothes only fit a slim body?

I can't imagine the RotJ jumpsuit, which was tailored for the weird and oddly proportioned short Buck body, will fit any type of TT body.
