So back to luke...is anyone else as happy as I am that they are including 2 different designs of bases for luke both a standard HT base and a great looking Bespin style base?

It's funny, because when I started this hobby, the $300.00 asking price was a big hurdle to overcome. The more familiar one becomes with these prices, though, the more of a deal this package is. Really happy with all the extras this set comes with, including the stands. Really the only one I wouldn't use is the standard black one, though I know some like them for consistancy, so glad it was included too.

I remember when SSC 1:6 figures were starting to approach the $75-100 mark and HT was in the $150 range. I thought I'd might have to go back to GG again. Man, to have those prices again...

It's basically $150 per figure if you want to look at it like that. For a DX with PERS and a quality outfit this is about the only well priced item left in the 1/6th section of the SS website IMO.

Comparing it to something like Wolverine makes it look even better.

This set is probably one of the last bastions of really good value for money pieces - nothing comes close to it.

A HT Anakin / Vader set of this quality, would absolutely FLOOR me.

I am still waiting for HT to come out and say they screwed up on the price and actually meant to charge 399-499$

I hope a slim so I don't have to buy two of them to customize them both. The height would be about right and the build. Anybody know for sure?
