Hot Toys should stop sending figures to OMG, and send them to the SW Post-It thread instead.

The figures both look fantastic. I was able to get an early look at a production piece today. Safe to say that I'm keeping my order.

These are raw photos. No adjustments. Shot with a Nikon D200 and an on-camera flash.

Good that you were in the right place at the right time, Rook. What a relief. HT's first SW fig looks great in these shots.

Quick question, how do you access the PERS?
None of my HT figures have PERS, so I don't have a clue.

My guess is that the hair comes off as one piece so you can access the back of the head. (It's different with every figure.)

The production clean Luke looks way more like ESB Mark Hamill than the prototype ever did. Not sure if they retooled the sculpt or it's just the paint job.

The new outfit also looks much more screen accurate.

These two things could honestly explain the delay. Either Hot Toys or Lucusfilm decided to retool the figure.

The clean Luke looks almost like a fundamentally different figure than the prototype, and for the better, I have to say.

And most importantly: No guyliner.
