Looks like they did change the clean sculpt. I like it better than the damaged one now.

I was thinking with the Bieber hair, I do kind of like the clean sculpt better now. Might put clean sculpt on BD clothes.

So seeing these news pics makes it pretty clear that the HT shot with all the figs IS of the production figures. Lukes look the same, so I imagine that's what the T2 and Iron Monger will look like as well.

So relieved that Luke came out good, although I think there was a lot of fun in the panic.

Now I'm forced to choose one Luke. And these prod shots make it near impossible.

I like the regular portrait more than the battle damage, it's grown on me.

The battle damage portrait in Rook's fantastic photos looks no different than the initial "crappy" pics posted last week. The eyes still look like crappy PERS Indy eyes (albeit heavy shadows) and he still looks like a wet rat. The only thing I like about it is the cut on the left side of his face. I'm impressed with the layering of the skin and how fresh and raw it looks like it does in the film.

The blinking lights on the Weather vane are a nice touch and I'm also impressed that they got that subtle square on his octagon belt buckle.




I'll probably go with this look for a display,

I don't really want TWO HT Bespin Lukes on my shelf.

Since I much prefer the "dirty" Luke in the later part of the film, I assumed that's what I would get to cross swords with Vader... but now I'm liking the clean one.

As I said before, I'm tempted to put the clean sculpt on the battle-damaged body. Not sure what to do with the other parts after that.

Good thing is: lots of parts should be available on ebay.

I'm just waiting for Sideshow to release a Snowspeeder or Hoth Luke and I will just buy one for the clothes and use the clean Hot Toys Luke with them.

Interesting.... you propose to toss the Sideshow Luke and replace him, unknowingly, with the HT version? BRILLIANT! I could use the clean sculpt to replace my Sideshow Tatooine Luke. No more repaint needed.

Isn't that really the only purpose of the panic? I wonder how many members genuinely buy into the panic and actually cancel or take it all seriously.

That said, I can't wait till the next panic .....
