Honestly I dont mind SSC tackling the aliens and armored figures..but please no more human's..the sculpts (outside of Old Ben and maybe Emperor) are just about laughable compared to HT...let HT do all of the human figures..

I agree, the Aliens and Clones are HT quality, but the human sculpts haven't improved enough.

They make nice sculpts for Joe's and the like where they don't have to nail a likeness though.

Their next Human release will be crucial for them, the Obi isn't great.

Can't believe Luke is delayed.

How many of those are good? Just because they keep doing them does not mean they're very good.(loose bodies, shyyty paint apps) They've gotten better, but their current prices don't reflect the product IMO.

Rory. They may have put some kind of flame retardant chemical on the costume like most companies do to regular clothes or a stain treatment to ensure the longevity of the costume. That may be why you were having trouble with the paint absorbing in. Now it sounds like it finally gave up and soaked in the colors. Great job bro. Can't wait to see some more poses from your work.

The possibilities for characters in the Star Wars Universe is infinite but I have a feeling we won't see all the characters we want from HT. if their hands are tied with the license agreement then we are looking at a few core human characters all of which we have seen at best.

We can also speculate till the end of time at which ones are next but we will always have Luke.

btw, just to defend the SS SW line. This has been a fantastic line. I have a lot of them and I expect I will continue to buy more of the old ones. Some of them have been improved upon in the last 5 years or so, but that doesn't make them crap. They're high level figures. The fact that now there are even better ones doesn't change that!

I dont think you can count sideshow out on headsculpts the gi joe line is kicking ass with thier zartan ,major blood and barroness look damn good then we have dc line coming the catwoman and harley quinn look amazing...Yes hot toys is gotten HEADSCULPTS down but sideshow is coming up in the rank's and all about what you like in the end not the company or brand name....

I actually wouldnt be aurprised if HT has all but finished the next SW figure and is just waiting for the Luke orders to be fulfilled and the figure to sell out before unveiling it. Not saying it has gone into mass production, just saying that I bet the prototype is done.

SS are only good at things without faces. I have a lot of their stuff. None of the human characters appeal to me in the slightest though.
