It seems from all these pics circulating, that the blood on the BD Luke varies from figure to figure. Some seem to have gone quite OTT with the redness and blood around the wound, and others have no redness around the wound whatsoever.

I'm actually more impatient about the next figure announcement. At least we know Luke will be with us in a week or so. The next figure? Who knows. Pull your finger out Hot Toys.

Me too. HT and Star Wars together. My mind runs wild of the possibilities. Only thing is the time between each figure will be long. And Im an OT man and there is no guarantee that any OT figures will be back to back. The only PT figure that I could see myself buying is Maul. Can you imagine an HT Darth Maul? Yeah.

Yeah, Ive noticed that. Some I was actually surprised that it looked bruised. Which is great, that way it should be. But as you've said it's varying.

Theres a way to get from hangin up on people...

Press 1 for DX luke...
press 2 for DX bats...
press 3 for.........

then when you select DX luke, you can hear the message...

" sorry ,,you gotta still play the waiting game..NO DX LUKE FOR YOU !!

Don't want to make anybody nervous but somebody once told me about a batch of figures that was opened by the customs completely, each and every packet.

The customs have the right to do so if they want to.
Actually this means big efforts and it's probably only done in case of concrete suspicions to check if the number of items matches the documents, to search for illegal contents and so on.

In a case like that Sideshow would probably run into big problems, looking at us collectors and possibly opened boxes.
They would probably have to get new packaging material by Hot Toys, which would cost time, but they would only do that to please us.

Only speculation but a possible reason for this "big" delay.

We should just wait, as this is probably the only thing we can do now and I'm sure Sideshow will not let us wait longer then necessary.

Another conspiracy!

This thread has more conspiracies than Area 51.

We're getting Luke. Even if it's a Luke with poor custom paint on a soft, non-textured modified from proto headsculpt that has altered clothing and bent accessories, whom was additionally delayed because airport security is opening all the boxes, crushing the corners, and playing with the dollies in the middle of the baggage claim area.

5 day's out and the customs guy's have got 2000 Hot Toy's Luke figures unboxed and are currently using them as target practice.

Chill out guys. It's coming, it looks good, it's a HT's Star Wars figure, you've waited about an extra 10 years already, this happens to every release.

The day they invent cryo chambers will be a success for mankind or how about just carbonite, if we can survive the freezing process that is.
