Man, I wish Ikea would open a store near me. Those cases you guys display make me so envious!:impatient:

I looked into that a couple years ago. I don't know how it is for other states, but shipping costs to Louisiana are INSANE from Ikea. For one detolf? $350. I ultimately bought a couple off of eBay for $150 shipped each or so, which of course is over twice the cost of someone who can just drive down the street to their local Ikea.

$350 for shipping??? :horror:horror:horror

At least you found a used one for a good deal. I didn't know that the shipping would be so costly. :slap

It seems like Ikeas are scarce. We have one in Maryland but it's like an hour away. WHich isn't bad. Im not paying $150 for a detolf so Im happy. :lol

May be cheaper for karamazov to drive to drive to the nearest IKEA and pick up a few detolf's.

I think the nearest Ikea is in Houston, which I ain't driving to to get some shelves :D But yeah, better over here to just scour Craigslist for glass cabinets. The ones I bought on eBay were new, by the way, and weren't put together. They weighed a ton (must have been over 75 pounds a piece), so I can see why shipping is so expensive. But it's definitely a deterrent to buying directly from Ikea.

for those that have it..is the vader head solid at the bottom or hollow?if hllow..could one drill a hole just deep and wide enough to put on a ssc vader?

My IKEA is 10 minutes away and I DON'T take it for granted! Detolf's on the ready.

:lol No way. I care more about the food in the fridge going into my kids stomach. Plus being without power is a pain in the ass. I don't own a generator either.

Tell me about it...Went through that mess with the storm back in July here...5 days without a computer, tv, or A/C...Like living in the stone age...lol...Don't want a repeat of that...

Im sorry but that's gotta be a funny sight.

Yeah, I can wait for Luke. I need my power and the roof of my house. :lol

I was so hanging on Friday when my Luke arrived, so I didn't really get the chance to appreciate him properly! Anyway I have taken a few crappy pics, not really had time to take any decent ones yet. This figure definitely looks 100x better in person than any pic though.
