Thanks Battsworth :1-1:

I think I got my moneys worth, or my gf money, but either way I'm happy with it. Its the first time in a long time I feel like I got what I paid for, and above all else that's important to me. Even if the likeness isn't perfect, or there is a bunch of stuff I'll never use past the pics I just took, I am genuinely satisfied with all of it. Its a great release, and probably the last time I ever feel like I got what I paid for from HT. Single figures costing what they do now is ridiculous and why I don't have anything HT on pre order. Anyway, I'm ranting.
Its great. Tailoring on both is exceptional and accessories are all very well done. Exclusive is perfection.

Bottom line, if you are a 30 something, (or forty something *looks at Batty*) Star Wars fan and you got $300 to spend, there is no way you should be without this.

<<<<<< Very happy Star Wars geek :yess:

I know what you're saying. There was a time, maybe three years ago, when you really felt as if you were getting good value with HT releases. Those times are mostly a thing of the past now. :(

Just got my set! It's really great. Looking back at those crappy phone images it's like wtf? :lol

I was actually surprised by the hair. It's dark brown with a golden sheen to it. Really nice looking.

Announce the next figure now dammit! :gah::impatient:

Some pics which I took after setting up. Not the best of the pics but I will try to take again with a better camera if I have the time again..

Great looking display!

Yours is the first shot I have seen with SS Boba Fett. I thought about snagging a Fett to go along with Luke in my display... But he seems a bit too large maybe? How are you feeling on it? Do they look properly sclaed to one another... or am I better off just waiting for HT to eventually tackle Boba?

Sallah

That looks quite good, but how come Medi-boots fit HT Luke but SS-boots don't?
I would've thought the SS-boots are larger... will have to check tonight!

I may be a simple toy collector but those are German WWII boots from Dragon Models not Medicom. They are great boots for a Jedi.

I have no idea how he go Medi boots to work on unmodified HT feet. All I know is I heated the SS boots up and still couldn't get them suckers on.

Last couple pics. The batteries lasted just long enough for two pic and then faded and died, lame Hot Toys, sending me dead batteries :lol

That ain't right. At least you got some good pics before they went dead.

Awesome pics, King! You don't need to be all artsy fartsy to do kick ass pics! :rock

King is just fartsy. :lecture

There was somebody that posted a pic with Medi clothes and boots earlier. I think abake was talking about that. Don't know if they were on HT feet though.

Just checked my shipping status and I'm still on like donkey kong! My zip code is not affected so he will be here on time tomorrow. I'm home all day.

just unpacking my fig,,only a few minor issues
The magnet that connects the hair on the clean had come unglued,as well as the magnet in the holster, and the lightsaber hook from the belt was also unglued.
Actually the holster magnet and the hook from the belt were together up by the headsculpt lol.

Thats it so far,,
(note to HT..use better glue )

I just opened my set, pretty impressive. This is my first Hot Toys figure, Im blown away. So much stuff, worth the price in my opinion.

Looking forward to futzing around with it in the coming days. Awesome figure. :rock

I had to reglue both sculpt magnets and a saber hook on mine. I just think they have inferior glue over there or something.
Every time I turned around I was picking something off the floor that came unglued on my EB Batman too.

A benefit for weak glue: Enable easier customising...

I find myself wishing for weak glue on some parts..... it takes multiple cursing and effort to unglue some parts.
