So a standard super glue would be fine? There's no special brand or type I would need to fix it?

Don't worry too much about it. Things like this are amongst the easiest fixes you'll have to face with these figs. The magnets didn't come off of my Luke yet, but they did on my Joker. A fast drying super glue will work perfectly. You'll see a bunch of different brands in any art store, hobby store or Home Depot. For simple stuff like this, all the better ones will work equally. But definitely use a toothpick as others are saying, NEVER apply the glue straight fom the tube to the surface. Squeeze a drop on a piece of paper, dip a toothpick in that and dab it on the surface of what your gluing. :duff

I've got a question for those of you who screwed the weather vane into the ceiling, wall or shelf.
Are the screws long enough?
Do they have enough thread to hold into wood or plaster?
Does it feel secure or flimsy?

I screwed mine into wood shelving on my second attempt and it held fine with the screws included I would reccomend though to not to yank on it because the weakest part is the attatchment point for the mount.

My first attempt was to screw it into drywall and the included screws couldnt support the weight but I blame that on my old dry wall.

If anyone has a BD hair they would be willing to sell me PM me, when glueing the magnet in place my crazy glue tube exploded and ruined my BD hair and my night

Just get turpentine/white spirits and remove the glue. Then paint her back up again.

If I were you I'd take the chance to colour his hair a shade lighter towards blonde too. I think this sculpt would be much better if someone could mod the hair in a lighter colour. You could be the first...!

I'll def try this, nothing to lose at this point

oh man, sorry to read that...
that's why I always use a old small brush to apply the epoxi glue ;)
you can never know when a big drop just mess all the figure.

I love how different versions of Luke are being modified from this DX set like a ROTJ Luke. Anyone planning on doing an X-wing pilot version?

I think I saw someone posted an X-Wing Luke with the DX head a week or so ago but I don't recall what page.

My first attempt at sculpting hair (style is wrong), phone pics, WIP not painted yet:

That is very nice Rory... so does this fit over the head, or will it be a permanent fixture? And like others have said if you can get this thing cast I'd be all about getting a copy of either the entire head (as a single piece) or just the hair.

Thanks man, no it's a separate hairpiece, fits on same as the others.
I'm doing a revised version at the moment, a bit more jedi/priest looking.

Looks great man, which outfit is that?
:clap:clap

Thanks Rory. Its the Hasbro orange jumpsuit, but I removed all the snaps and velcro. I custom made the vest and used the Hasbro chestbox. The helmet is a Tomy mini helmet which I repainted.

This is currently the ANH version, but I may try to track down a jacket, add the Bespin belt and go for the ESB version.
