Those are two different lightsabers you're comparing: the ANH and ESB. The subtle differences you speak of are accurate to the movie prop differences. And actually, the UU lightsaber is not accurate to the ANH prop. It should not have that red button on the "bottom" of the lightsaber, and the "on/off" switch should be on the other side.

:goodpost: Glad someone pointed it out. :D

This came yesterday. Box in really good condition.
As soon as I picked it up it just felt like quality.

Got the set last week, finally unboxed it tonight. Got a regular version, the "Uke" variant :dunno As others have noted, mine came with unglued magnets, on one of the holsters and both headpieces. I freaked out quite a bit when I managed to get some Superglue on my fingers and smudged it onto Luke's forehead-- thankfully, the shiny glue stain is totally covered up by the hair, so you can't see it at all. Man, I was so pissed when I thought I'd ruined the figure... :slap

Got this yesterday finally. Fully happy with it, although the neck is hard to move and it popped off a few times on the BD version. The magnet on his gun holster came off and I had to glue it back on, but I glued it on backwards the first time so I had to tear it off and I corrected it but now it has the residue of the holster on the exposed side :( can't see it but it bothers me.

Also the head magnet came off when I tried to manipulate the pers on the BD version. Just a dash of superglue corrected it, it seems like that magnet, on all Hot Toys DX's is never glued properly it seems.

Yes I realize that. I was talking more about scale and size comparing. The SS is a lot bigger than HT and Medi. Medi and HT are relatively the same size.

Trying out the UU saber with this.

Your boba is horribly futzed. :( And his neck is uberlong? o_O

The UU saber is pretty bright. The battery fades after a minute or so but if you turn it off for a few and cut it back on the light stays bright again.

If anyone has a clean sculpt that they want to sell hit me up. As long as it's not ebay prices that is.

Yup. I could use one too. Or a battle damaged. I'd take one of those as well. I have all the pieces for my SNOWSPEEDER pilot Luke coming in.
-Hasb 12" Luke pilot jumpsuit, vest, box
-Tomy Luke pilot helmet
-Sideshow Luke Ceremonial Jacket
-HT Luke boots, belt, blaster, sabers
-Hasbro Hoth Vest collar
Just need the head.

This is definitely the best DX to date and you get a lot of bang for your buck since you get two figures. The two figure deal needs to happen more often... :(

Mine is mounted in the corner from the ceiling. Bonus is the wall color is a bluish gray, so it looks like the sky.
