Been hanging around for months looking at the photos of arnold/batman/luke etc but stayed away due to all the nonsence that gets said about pre released figures lol

Was 'Supposed' to be getting this for christmas from my wife, but she got screwed over by a scammer. Got the money back, which is the most important thing. But as the prices go up and up, I can't see me getting to own this beauty.

There are plenty of freaks up here selling a set if your willing to pay retail.

If you are from the UK toyhq still have two left for £239.99 which is the going rate i believe. Thats where i got mine from. Has anyone else found the batterys in the weathervane are pretty poor? mine seem to be dying out already lol

Is there an affordable body that will give Luke's arms less visible joints when he's just in the tank top? Seems like the HT muscle body (which is less available these days) is too bulky for Luke and also doesn't have the right neck connection.

It's slightly odd that HT went with the sculpted neck on Luke - seems like most of their figs these days have the neck on the body.

I just got my DX Luke this week - I took a gamble and picked one up from gohastings.com for $225 bucks...I know their track record is spotty with Hot Toys figures...but I couldn't resist at that price and IT PAID OFF!!

He was complete with all accessories!!! One of the puches was torn off of one of the belts...but a little super glue will fix that right up...GREAT DEAL for this set!! :hi5:

Those are some great pix with some awesome poses.

Maybe someone can help me with a couple things, first those blue backpacks that carry yoda, where do they come from?was it an accesory for sidedhow or hasboro?second I just got my 2nd dx luke and the sideshow jedi luke to make a jedi bash.the outside shirt is a blue color,is that screen accurate?is medicoms the same color?and did anybody dye it to a grey or black and if so how?should I bleach it first then dye it?

Backpack is from the POTJ 12" Luke/Yoda 2 pack (2002 or so.) There is talk of someone doing an actual fabric version however - it was quite a aways back in this thread.

I used the Bruce lee GOD body for mine but if your looking for a bit more articulation with a visible joint I'd try the BL 3.5. It has quite a few interchangeable hands and still seems thin enough to do the job.

^^^ Did you slice the neck off that Bruce Lee body or is there a version that comes like that?

Yup. I cut the rubber part around the neck until I got it where I wanted it. There is a cylinder inside the rubber made of plastic that is connected to the body by a metal wire for posing. Luckily enough when you take off the plunger from the bottom of Luke's neck the hole is big enough to fit around the cylinder.

The only reason I did not cut the neck off the Luke head and drill a hole to pop it on the existing Bruce lee neck was because I was afraid it would mess with the PERS system. Not sure there's enough room for a neck post inside the Luke head if you cut the neck off and plan on still using the eyes.

FINALLY GOT THIS GUY!

Really awesome. I love that the boots don't affect the ankles' poseability, and happy that the jacket can be futzed to lower the sleeves and show less of the wrist joints.

My girlfriend loved it, and seeing both the clean and BD versions along with the DX stand and the weathervane displayed at a local store, she can hardly believe that I got all those for $250 :D

Try to keep those pictures coming, guys, I'll try to post mine soon!
