I just traded my Iron Man MK7 for this sealed box DX Luke today , and I don't regret it one bit .

I just have more heart for this opposed to Ironman MK7.

Was I foolish that did that swap ?

You weren't foolish because you ended up with the figure you really wanted, that's what it's all about.

Exactly. If both parties are happy with the trade, then why not? That's why I traded my Lt. Gordon for this. I liked the Gordon figure, but it was not as definitive to me as this Luke.

Plus, I'm keeping my figures crossed for a Commissioner Gordon.

luke is a great sculpt , and a great set and you get two figures. That is what blows me away the most . For the price of it , you 100% get your moneys worth . I think more people love it better now than they did a year or two ago - more people are warmed up to it . Its definitely a great figure and not only that its a great Starwars collectable in general / + even if your not into figures but love starwars this should absolutely be put in the collection .

I didn't like the prototype pictures at first , I thought he looked too much like Michael J Fox. The end result he really does look like Mark Hamill , im just not sure about the Justin Beiber hair- do though.

I think the clean outfit might need further wheathering to match the screen version ( he just arrived from Dagobah-- his outfit was quite worn and dirty looking in some spots ) but other than that its quite perfect

I know I am probably late to the party, but I discovered this one last week through the Tamashii C3PO. You see, I don't usually collect 1/6, buy both these figures are EPIC! Still waiting on C3PO but having a lot of fun with the Lukes. Just couldn't stop photographing him. Sorry for all the pics

I did have to glue the magnets on both figures and I redid the faces to get them closer to the movie look. It's important to paint in the bags under his eyes, the moles, the shadows around the mouth, etc. Also weathered and dirtied up both suits, because in the movie he enters Bespin with a dirty suit (coming from Dagobah I assume). LOVE THIS! Enjoy the pictures. Best Hot Toys figure I've ever seen and a friend of mine has many!

Nice photos and nice attention to detail! But if you want accuracy, I can assure you that Luke should have the other hair piece when he is sitting on the weather vane - his hair was completely dry and poofy on that vane. The wet look is when he's fighting Vader.

They should have included 3 hair pieces in the set. Would have been preferable to the medical device that fits onto the stump by a mile.

OK I don't understand I can get this set MIB for 300 shipped, but on ebay just the clean version is 270 WTF. Does anyone here want to sell the clean version with some accessories ?

It's pretty obvious from here, buy it new and then sell what you don't want on eBay for less than everyone else. That means a quicker sale on eBay and you get only the parts you want at a reduced cost.

Lol unfortunately that would take for ever and I would only keep the headsculpt and body, I want to make jedi luke so I would essentially sell 95% of the set lol.

Oh, snap! I didn't know you only wanted a couple of parts. I thought the opposite, you only DIDN'T want a couple of parts! You actually only need the sculpt, for the body you can use a Hot Toys Slim TTM22 which you can probably find for less $$.
