I've never removed the feet on mine, but the fix could be as simple as replacing the foot pegs, which I assume are longer ones, with some shorter. That would change his height by mere millimeters but could give just the right bit of accuracy in this scale for the perfectionits.

Unfortunately the pegs on the Luke body/boots are unique and not the typical double barrel ball-joint style. Might take more of a mod to adjust the height.

Ah, lame! Haha, I thought I had such a foolproof plan!

Yeah, most of their figures it's so easy to make a little adjustment like that. The boots are so key to the figure that it complicates everything. It's possible the easiest method for the unskilled customizer (or for those that don't want to do something that isn't reversible) would be to pull off the lower legs and port those onto another short body so that they still work with the boots. Unfortunately the ANH Luke body has a built-in neck so it wouldn't work for this figure.

Luke used to have it tough in his X-wing!

Has anyone who owns this figure gone so far as to swap in a more height appropriate body? Now that there are multiple Lukes more accurately dimensioned, this DX will stand out. Imagine easiest would be to swap in the ANH body but still pricey to pick an extra one or two up for that purpose.

Appreciate hearing anyone’s experience in this point. Thanks.

You can’t put the DX head on the ANH body because of the sculpted neck. Unless you want to cut the check off completely from the body and remove the neck adapter. That would ostensibly destroy the body. All I did was swap out the lower legs on my DX body with slim HT lower legs. It’s easily done and makes him shorter. Although I did have to scrape out just a little bit around the peg holes inside the boots to make the regular foot pegs go in. It still functions if I want to swap it back and now I have a Luke that’s the right height next to all my other Lukes.

Great advice. Thanks. I guess these slim HT bodies are like 80 bucks or so these days?

Sorry to ask a noob question, but I'm looking for this guy on ebay and wondering what the differences are between the normal and deluxe versions of this set

There is only 1 set BUT there is an limited number of the exclusive which came with the set,Vader's battle damaged helmet with Luke's headsculpt inside ala the Dagobah Force vision scene.
Hope that helps.

I'm really wanting this set. I'm just afraid of getting it and then suddenly they release a 2.0 version without the 2nd body (which I could totally live without).

Honestly, if found 500 or under, this set is great buy. You get two excellent from his best appearance and being able to display damaged luke on the massive weathervane has unmatched shelf presence. A 2.0 may be viable for them to do in a couple years but I don't see them coming back to it until after they've exhausted other Luke appearances. And yes. As stated the weathervane and battle damaged luke wouldn't be in the picture and it really does make for a marvelous display. I used the weathervane and Luke for a Christmas tree topper this year.

Man it’s like $700 US plus. I guess if you want it bad enough, you’ll pay. I love this figure but it’s a lot. Decisions decisions

This will be revisited. Be patient guys - a new version with intended tailoring and sculpt is basically printing money for HT - this year is for ROTJ and ST Luke - we'll get this one again.
