I just ran some experiments in the lab here, and it's true--there is a statistically significant relationship between being a person and loving Hot Toys Star Wars Luke, even controlling for geographic location, age, gender, socio-economic status, interaction and mediating effects, and general issues of endogeneity, multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity. I never the logic behind the argument "You'd hit it if you were in the room with______" it's like even though I don't find this person attractive if you were in physical promixity that you wouldn't be able to control your _____ and have to bang said person. I don't find Cameron Diaz attractive, in fact I find her fairly annoying if I were in the same room with her I wouldn't be so starstruck that all of sudden I want to ____ her, I would probably be watching for stuff to make fun of her with.

The _____ is controllable much like the Force which Bespin Luke learned. Now Poppy Montgomery on the other hand, I would that ____, I have had that crush for years and I would bang that like a drum major auditioning for his dream college marching band and would probably include fuzzy hats to boot.

Right now, I'd buy Han, Leia, Darth, Chewie and Boba before Luke. He's like my least favorite main character.

I said if they make an Anakin DX figure that comes out as nice as Luke I would buy that where I just don't feel the "need" to buy Luke. The thing that would keep me from getting an Anakin figure is if the price was more than I'm willing to pay. Love the design of Darth Maul and I do consider him an actual character. Some of that comes from reading his EU novels that really add to the character.

They tried to make her into the most like-able, sweet, caring, successful woman imaginable in Something about Mary, and I still couldn't see the appeal... She ruined Gangs of New York thanks to her lack of acting ability, and that's the last film I've seen with her in it, much like Jedi was the last film I've seen with Mark Hamill... She looks hot in Qui Gon'ss sig, but that's because I can't even tell it's her.

I agree, it took me a while to realize it was Cam Diaz in the Sig. She does look hot in that pic.

Factoring in the overrated factor, the annoyance factor, the "there are 1000 actresses I'd want ahead of her" factor, and the rest, your resolve would last exactly as long as the first time she touched you arm and looked into your eyes..! I think you're being unfair. I say she played the role of a slutty has-been to perfection. Just like Mark Hamill was perfect as the voice of the Joker in B:TAS. Hamill also, I believe, played Luke Skywalker, who is receiving the DX treatment by Hot Toys.
