Finally took a few quick pics on my phone there not amazing quality just quick snaps. The lights on mine start to dim and eventually go out, no big deal as i will never use the feature.

Picked up a Sideshow Jedi Luke for cheap. Haven't been this excited for a while!

Mine just came in and WOW! It looks GREAT! But really HT has to work on those magnets for the hairpiece. I got unglued pieces for both lukes AND my samurai predator a few months ago, it's an easy fix but not something I had to do if I pay 300 for it.

Yeah but the magnets are not even needed. I just left mine off.

Yup. Not needed. Helps a bit when moving the head around. The hair won't move as much when the magnets are glued in properly.

I had no problems with the hair piece magnets on either of my figures funnily enough.

What wasn't great though, was the little magnet on the holster strap on the BD Luke's belt - it came off. Easy enough fix though.

Also the flap on the right shoulder pocket on the figure's jacket had came off. These figures are somewhat delicate though anyway, so some of these things are to be expected I guess from time to time.

Okay, after a lot of hesitation, I've decided to get this( mostly thanks to these pics where we can see Luke with DV behind him. That's a cool display!).

I haven't really been following this thread, so any flaws to watch out for?

Well, that,s not really an issue. I had this with Indy. It's just that glue and metal never get along well...

... no i meant more serious flaws. Any crooked pers, LED issues, stuff like that?

BTW, I've just ordered ten minutes ago from a local dealer. If they move their ass fast enough, there's still I chance I get to open that under the Christmas tree!

No PERS issues that I remember reading in here.

Someone mentioned the weather vane's light flashing sequence being 'stoppy starty' or some such.. someone else may have to chime in for that one.

The other thing folks have mentioned is the magnets in the hair pieces being loose.. but that's it.

It's a killer set.

Can someone let me know how tall this Luke is? I've managed to piece together a loose BD Luke (just minus the body) and wanted to get his height right using one of my spare bodies.

He is 11 3/4 inches tall or 29.84 cm. He should only be 11 3/16 "ish"

Thanks - that's great. I think I'm going with a slightly shorter body because the slim he comes with seems like it makes the shirt sleeves just a smudge too short. So excited to put this together. Couldn't afford the whole set - or the non-BD sculpt for that matter.
