Awesome I just found out the Bespin Luke I bought on eBay from China was a scam. The guy is sending glow in the dark shoe laces and not the figure. Lol at least I can find my shoes at night. EBay says they are refunding the lot of us, but what a waste of our time. This is twice this figure has been screwed with on Evilbay.

There are some great Asian sellers though, & unfortunately they get tarred with the same brush sometimes because of scumbags like who you bought through.

Hi I've been ripped off too. I've been scammed by three different sellers from Asia on this figure. I lost $160 back in July and currently have $530 tied up in a two resolution cases on PayPal (sellers 8858roomof and smailshopping on ebay). Luckily I managed to buy this figure from a forum member on here so I should be sorted out with at least one set but I will be looking for another set in the New Year.

o.o So basically ya spent almost a grand on a Luke... $160 + $530 = $690 + Forum Buy (Maybe $270) so... $960... And they wonder why the Chinese have money... Seriously why can't their be a plastic plant again in the usa again... Idc about raised increase on figure... getting ripped off like that makes a $500 price tag with MADE IN THE USA seem a whole lot better...

The forum Ex Luke was $415 including shipping to me in Europe so $1075 to get one figure!!!!! Ouch that's a lot of money when you look at it like that.

For me was almpst the same for the ex... Aprox $1100... So i bought the standar edition $400, and the exclusive accesory on ebay $100... That's maybe the bestbway to go if you dont care about the sticker on the box

Watch out for a Disneeds he is a seller selling Bespin Luke, never shipped it after payment. Then sold the battle damaged version telling me it was a friends, and said mine is still stuck with customs since release.

This can get into an entirely different conversation with the global economy and all, so to just keep it simple...I think it's not as much as Chinese sellers ripping people off as it is people do not do enough investigation to find flaws in auctions and realize they are scammers. I am not saying the people that buy from them are "dumb" for getting ripped off ...I am just saying it is very easy to tell scammers from legit sellers if enough research is done.

It helps that his outfit isn't super restrictive. Compared to all the other HT figures I have (8), this one is by far the most flexible. I don't feel like I'm going to rip something. I do struggle getting him into poses I'm happy with, though, just because I feel there is always a better pose to find.
