Probably because they needed to leave space for PERS. All of the other DX heads had a sculpted neck for the joint to go into, but not this one because of the body.

I wonder if the two new Bruce figs will have the same setup... If not the body, well at least the neck adapter will have to be modified to fit the DX head. Food for thought.

now sure you could just buy the whole DX set for $200 at Sideshow but that doesn't come with the extra body box!

Holy ____! What the ____! That's more than I pay for the whole boxset of DX04 ($200). Just insane. I'll just wait for some to sell a loose muscle body for the upcoming HT MIS BL.

Looks great, but he obviously used Photoshop for the joints, so who knows what else was modified there.

It would be interesting to know... I'm guessing the majority of the figure is HT or it would kind of a pointless manipulation; might as well just photoshop the head on a picture of BL

Just photoshop for the joints: Shoulder, elbow and wrist...and maybe the skin texture, that's all
