Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Oh I am a fan. I was referring to spending $200 on something you're not a "die hard fan" of. I watch the movies and love BL as much as anyone else.

Ordered! $199 seemed like a no brainer ................ now I just need a spare body. :)

$199, wow thats a good deal. Where did you get it, if you dont mind telling me. I got mine for $215:monkey4

When you make a claim that your box is damaged through SSC what happens exactly? I ship them back everything and I wait and hope that they ship me a mib package once again?

Here's the damage on my box:

If it bothers you that much, I'm sure that you can. You would very likely have to ship the entire thing back and then have them ship another one back to you, probably via the same shipping method.

Enter the Dragon and Game of Death are also among my faves. Have been since I was 12...

Well, Tuesday a notice went out that SS got these in early, so if you contacted them at that point they would process your order and mail the figure out. If not they would process on Friday, which was the original target date.

Thanks for the info buddy :1-1:

I got it from Toy Square. They have 2 left.

Congratz bro! Maybe consider pre-ordering the narrow shoulder true type as a second body. As long as the figure is fully clothed, I don't see you having any issues. Perhaps display the battle damaged body with the shirt off and narrow shoulder true type with the baggy white shirt on.

He would have to buy extra pants.

And I'm not sure the head joint will fit the neck of the Narrow TT. No one has tried yet.

Smiling Bruce Lee head might actually be a good one for Quick Kick, based on his personality in the cartoon. You need bare feet to match the skin tone, though.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Does anyone think Hot Toys will eventually release the Lee body for sale?

I know they haven't released movie specific bodies in the past but in this case are they more likely due to competition with Enterbay?
(who always have Bruce Lee variant bodies available)

There you go, then. Since QK's "uniform" was so basic, it seems like it should be a pretty easy kit-bash for someone. And I don't really see Sideshow going after him anytime soon.

Doubt it. That would kinda cheapen the whole figures, which I suspect is the reason they haven't released any other muscle bodies.

There's enough stuff with the Exclusive that all he'd really need for a good Quick Kick is a headband to stick under Lee's hair, a red sash w/dragon stars and the backpack with the sword.
