Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

The $180+ difference. Plus it'd be used for a fully clothed version.

The amount of mods needed to make it work, and the amount of paint needed to tone down the hookerpaint on the EB body, might make it more cost effective to hunt down one of the casual wear Lee bodies coming out later this year.

Thats my plan. Either using one of the bodies from the "plain clothes" Lee's or just getting another of the normal ETD bodies, as it'll be covered up anyway. Either in the sneaking suit or a GOD suit. Love that yellow jumpsuit.

Wow. Looking closely at the bodies, I realized there's a sheen over both of them like they're covered in sweat. That adds so much to the piece. It's little details like this that really show why Hot Toys is the leader of the pack.

Same. When I noticed it after a few hours I was floored by the attention to detail and craftmanship of their execution.

Yeah, great detail work on HTs part. I'm so impressed by the body that I've yet to pull the catsuit all the way up, nor have I taken the white jacket out of the box. I just don't want to cover up the great work they did.:yess:

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

HT Bruce body is really great..just one nitpick on it...the arm to shoulder attachment tends to open up and leave a gap sometimes when you pose it but if you pull the arms forward..it's not too bad at all...here's a pic of the HT sculpt on an EB body..colors dont match and hands are kinda big but certainly doable...

one more thing..i wanted to see if the stealth suit will fit the EB body but the EB body has wider lats than the HT body and I just dont want to stretch it....definitely doable though if you're going to dress him up in one of those generic suits on Ebay like this one

Yeah, but that small gap gives the HT Lee a broader range of motion so it's something I can live with. But the head loos a little pinheaded on the EB body. Not sure if that's just the perspective though.

Yeah i'll most likely go that route. I can wait.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

It appears the 'calm' sculpt I bought off ebay may have broken PERS....disappointed.

I'm not sure though as it doesn't come with instructions....can someone clarify? Its just turn left to make the eyes go left, right to them go right....right? :)

Everything I've read about PERS breaking, people talk the eyes getting stuck at really strange angles. These eyes are straight forward.

Bummer, bought this specifically for the PERS as an alternate head for casual Bruce when he is released....

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

The more I pose and mess with this figure the more awesome it becomes. It is truly the best figure I have ever owned and the best posable figure I have ever seen. I also love the overall price. It is 220 for basically two versions of the best figure ever. That's an amazing deal. These are well worth more than 180 each and yet you get it for barely more than the price of one. It's an incredible deal. If you haven't snagged the EX version yet then I highly recommend wait listing. This is probably one of the best exclusives ever since it basically doubles your purchase. I know some people say they don't really care about the extra body, but I just don't understand the logic there. It comes with two dioramas, two sets of clothing, three weapons, two heads, and two stands. With an accurate extra body, you get two Bruce Lees for a little over the price of one. It's a steal. Thank you Sideshow. Thank you Hot Toys.

^ We would all love to have the extra body but seeing that it was limited...

Anyway, yeah for sure those who got the EX got a SUPER deal, however to those of us who didn't, we got a super deal as well. The regular version will skyrocket in price too, for those concerned.

I know it's early, but if this doesn't win Figure of the Year, I'm calling BS! :lol
