Damn, so I was setting up my mirror backdrop and noticed how scratched up and smudgy the two side mirrors are... one of them has a crack on the side too. Lame. Thought all three were supposed to have a plastic film over it. Only the center seems to have.

Those two side mirrors have almost certainly got film over them. I thought mine were filmless too, but have a careful pick at the very corners, tease it up with your thumbnail or something - it'll peel off.

Hmm, I'll try that.

Hope I can get a replacement for this cracked one though.

Also, is this backdrop just supposed to stand on its own? It doesn't fit into any slot or have the extra folds at the bottom like the dungeon backdrop.

The pics are showing now...and then they stop showing after I refresh the page(don't know why, I use Google Chrome) very cool pics, think I need more light in my room and more HQ camera(D-SLR?)

I just took my base out for the first time just now and it doesn't have any extra folds or fit into any slot that I can see - looks like it's just supposed to stand up on its own?

Yeah. I was just confused because the other one has flaps... not really necessary either since it could stand on its own. Damn Hot Toys and your confusing ways!

I didn't realize film over the side mirrors started at the slot corners. Done. I remember some people saying they were afraid to pull it off because they started to see silver on the film... that's normal, I had some silver on the top and bottom of the peels, but it didn't tear any silver off of the actual mirror for me.
