Too bad HT won't make any BL figures in near future since the rights are held exclusively by Enterbay at the moment. It's not like Enterbay's Bruce Lees are bad, but the last 1/6th scale BL was GOD new version, and I think that figure was not really good (jumpsuit leaving stains, head too big and other QC issues).

By the way, I'm selling a DX 04 Bruce Lee, body swapped with bruce lee in suit's body (so no sweat effects or battle damage), with a bonus of: 3rd party game of death yellow jumpsuit + yellow onitsuka shoes including HT-like feet inside + extra nunchuck all in all for 190 USD. The only problem will be shipping cost since shipping worldwide from my country will be fairly expensive. Anyone interested please PM me then we can talk further about it :)

I was thinking about this set recently, & basically..

I really want this set - but, taking into consideration that if I want to get one MIB, there's the very real possibility that I may not be able to find one without some sort of in box deterioration happening.. seeing as it's not a new release.

With that in mind, I've opened all my MIB HT figures since, & let them 'breathe' - regardless of not having any cabinets to put them in. :lol

Best to get them fresh off the line I think - & OPEN them. :slap :lol

This is naive, but I'll say it . . .

The HOT TOYS DX04 ENTER THE DRAGON BRUCE LEE 1:6 figure is probably the one of the best IF NOT the absolute best 1:6 figures they ever designed & produced bar none.

I remember all the brouhaha the figure generated when first teased and when made available for order. I managed to get the EX version with the extra body. I opened mine upon receipt to marvel in it's 1:6 awesomeness, but never fully set it up. It's still in the box.

Tempted many time to sell it, but then again . . . why?

I can't think of why any of the box contents would deteriorate in the box - the materials are all pretty resilient.

Sadly many of the actual boxes arrived in collectors' hands with at least one corner seam torn. I was shattered when I opened mine - the box is beautiful, a very special thing to be opening. But those seams :gah:

But if you're a Bruce Lee fan by any measure, this is one figure you should seriously consider picking up :)

I can relate. Mine had a torn seam right out of the sealed DX box. The figure was mint though, so I kept it not wanting to take a chance sending it back.

Truth be told, all mine are fine (most are recently opened) except my mk4 Iron Man. Paint from the hip armour has left stains on the inner white coffin tray the figure lays in. That's more a QC thing with their paint & the rubber they've used for the hip armour - plus the time it's had sitting stuck in there, but..

I've read numerous reports around here about paint sticking to the trays, or paint beginning to 'bubble' - or slight deterioration of the clothing. They've been scattered reports, but unless I'm remembering these things I've read wrong.. there's some legitimacy to it at least, I think. In a confined space with no air, chemicals & materials have potential to react with each other over time.. no? :huh

I still think you'll be fine with Bruce - if in doubt, why not pick up a used one from a fellow boardie? It's a fun figure, and it's right up there with the GoD suit for iconic Bruce Lee looks.

Yeah thanks for the response & information mate, I'm new to this forum (registered in February but was only lurking around back then).

Talking about the figure, yeah I personally think this is the best 1/6th scale figure of Bruce Lee ever released up till now. Too bad recently no other 1/6th scale Bruce Lee figure is being released. Enterbay Black Label statue is great in terms of detail and quality, but I'm not into statues :slap Would like their Fist of Fury / Way of the Dragon remade with today's standards :)

I think both sculpts let this figure down.even though the paint app is more up to date than arnies work on the EB bruces his likeness is far better.(that's just not my opinion either)stick a modded EB ETD hairpiece on the DX and see the difference.

I can appreciate folks having issue with the head sculpts on some level or another (I'm like that with a lot of figures out there) but - to me, the whole set including the heads, is sensational. :huh

ETD is an incredible film - I've seen / own the others obviously, but ETD has always been THE Bruce film for me. :rock

Agreed. The sculpts really let it down from being one of my fave figs...to sadly one of my least faves.
Just my opinion.

Yeah, it was bad timing for them to hire Arnie AFTER they did the one figure he would have excelled at.

Arnie, when left alone to do so, can do outstanding work, his Carlito is incredible.

Okay need ur guys help. Would a truetype slim or reg size work for a HT/GOD bash? Need a body and feet for my HT Bruce as I didnt get the EX version at the time:slap Anybody suggest any other alternatives? Thanks
